so this isn't a guide but the strategy is easy to execute if you see what i'm doing. Basically the idea is to match the enemy crawlers with arc lights early, then they will switch to fangs which allows you to go mustangs. And with that setup you have air defense, flanks, chaff and chaff clear covered and it's time to build some factories. This setup is also good for fortress and melting point but factory is almost always the best choice since it counters whatever giant the enemy is doing. The hard part of this build is that you need to know how to play mechabellum to not die early rounds =) If you need a guide i could maybe make one as well.
This was a great video. I have been consuming rat content a lot and because of the other guides, tutorials and few more gameplay videos i was able to follow this quite easily despite not everything being explained like a guide. Now tho... question lies... when will you make a video where you show and explain how to counter this war machine meta :3 Is the plan to not go heavily on fangs or do the counters rise up on later rounds?
Of all the top players, your style is one of the most interesting. Every time I watch one of your games, it looks so different from what I'm used to see. Very entertaining!
I need to experiment more but factory always feels bad to me compared to mass fort. I go launcher range forts in most games, and even though I know you're not totally a fan of launcher forts, it feels like you can take on wf with them. I tried forcing factories instead of forts for a few days and just dropped 200 MMR. I think I was going factory too early in round 4 or 5 and getting too far behind economically if the game doesn't just end in 2-3 turns. I guess the secret is to figure out how to hold off a few more rounds as you seem to be able to do and buy them in round 6.
True! Good point. I haven't played much FFA. i would think its hard to find a comp with the same movement speed as factories. What else do you use? Some fangs + some marksmen?
@@SurreyEZ elite marksmen are basically the strongest unit in FFA, a solid core of levelled marksmen with something to tank for them like forts will guarantee victory. War factory seems like a very good tank as well due to the productions
@@SurreyEZ yeah I have been going upgraded fangs, shield and range at minimum. Spam some forts with shields late game. Usually it's a two stage attack, first battle wears em down then factories come in, and you have three or so battles as you move. By the second or third, I don't need much chaff as a level 3+ factory can handle a lot. Factory has range, Phoenix, and am if they have storms or boats. I've had a level 6+ factory, crazy hp, like 2mil+ in just factories
