I had a zoom meeting recently with an app developing company. How do I keep them from using my idea? I do have an email from them saying what ideas for the app I had, so does this email protect me?

Great video Ian, But how would you go about legally protecting other "processes" like dance moves/choreography, software/code, or other formulas, processes, or sequences that are famously used by a person, brand, or business?

What about getting funding for an idea?? We have an idea for an app that we need to secure funding to actually build. Using things like kickstarter and other start up investors. Obviously we can't an NDA for people online. How do you protect an idea that hasnt become a product yet?? Thank you for the video!!

Saw an article about AL perfect departure from the show idea, I came up with. I actually think stolen ideas happen often, as you can't copyright comments or ideas.

Ian thank you for providing this information. Could you please address the issue of an employee who becomes a whistle blower if they have signed an NDA? Does revealing a cyber, legal, financial or medical crime being committed by their employer exclude them from such legal actions brought against them? Is there an exclusionary clause someone could add before signing?

Hi, I shared 3 brands ideas, messeges, logo and a whole set of new brands identity followed a study of the global and local market of that industry to one who has a factory who I met before for one time, and he was so welcom of my thights. Lastly, after I sent my 59 page file that contains alot of ideas, he is not replying he said he is very busy and cannot even Try to read it. What makes me very sad, that on his business Instagram he is using my ideas, means he shared my work with his poor team. What can I do?

How do I become a Client and cost? Real investors and VCs don’t sign NDA’s anymore. They’re flooded with good ideas, they are looking for entrepreneurs to execute. If you’re that person, they may shelve your idea and have you work on a better one.

I uploaded my idea to RU-vid on unlisted and shared it with them per there request thinking it was an opportunity to work together turned out sideways but with youtube is there anything I can do ?
