So our governor in New Mexico announced yesterday that breweries can finally open at 50%, which is great, since they've been closed this whole time, and they are allowing live music (which is really great).
But still churches are still limited at 25% capacity and let's not forget we are still forbidden from singing and prayer chanting collectively at churches here in New Mexico under the governor's orders!
Let me say this once.
Church was and always is essential, it should always be open to as many people as would like to attend regardless of what these unconstitutional lawmakers decree. It should have never been closed and pastors and attendees should never have been fined or taken to jail for wanting to attend!
It's time to take back our churches and open them fully! The government never had the right to tell us how we can and cannot worship if we choose to worship and pray in a building together or not.
Churches in New Mexico and around the country, if you're still under lock down, from now on, open up fully and sing and pray loudly and let this be our protest that we do not need permission from a governor to gather in our houses of worship and we will not let the government infringe on our religious rights and freedom in this country!
Only God gives us the right to worship!
