if we get a normal classic fresh, I would love to have some kind of "if you know the game, go on this server, if you dont know it, go on that server". As a person who barely knows the game, it would be an amazing experience to play with people of the same skill, and I am sure the sweats would enjoy not playing with me.
As much as I would love hardcore TBC, I don't think raiding will be viable for the average player. The amount of locking in, coordination and perfect pulls required in raids like SSC and TK is absolutely insane. Certainly during the first weeks people will be wiping all the time, and raiding will be a disaster, because we're no longer in casual vanilla raids that have typical mechanics like tank and spank, soak, threat drops, debuff stacks, etc. High King Maulgar needs mages and hunters to tank adds at range/steal buffs or you wipe. SSC has that demon boss where you need a warlock to tank. On the other hand, maybe we just say fuck it, dont raid unless you're ready to lose your character, but I think the risk/reward balance is much different in vanilla hardcore versus TBC hardcore...

I know I'm a broken record but FRESH servers we need em, as much as I love era I really want to go thru phases again. And I am one of those people who really love GDKP but right now in era there's a huge problem with Jajas screwing up raids , pots being stolen, theres so much damn gold in the economy there's noway to keep track of who's buying and selling gold , everything is so inflated. Just recently the prices have started to go down for consumes and even weapons in raids. I know even with a fresh eventually the servers will turn into era unless blizz bans gdkp which I dnt see that happening. But whatev3r just the pure leveling with everyone and no boosting will be Hella fun in the beginning.
I will gladly watch as people cry for petri flask back in the game if it got removed, that would 100% remove interest in raiding on hardcore for a LOT of ppl you cant help 1 dumb person in a 40 man raid to ruin and wipe your group and then just dying to random shit you have literally 0 control over. its going to be hilarious to watch people die that's the best part of it but once raiding starts RIP to the population. This truly would be good for content LOL
yeah i find it hard to imagine a "tbc hardcore" would just have a huge audience. Enough people already completely pass on hardcore already. As soon as you get flying mounts it will be boring imo. the "klassic andeez lol" in your comments are just giving their insight who are not content creators, we dont need to come up with a niche to play for pay
Personally I have 0 interest in playing burning crusade again. Not saying it shouldn't be an option for those who want it, but I'd rather have a petri-free classic hardcore. Heck, give the horde players a light of elune alternative and delete petri.

Idk why everyone is so horny about no petris. Its like asking for more suffering. Completly brainless takes asking to make it even more insufferable to get into for casual players looking for a challenge. There's a reason the rogue genre fucking died and roguelikes became popular. Instead, do a 60 minute debuff or cd. You can do it once per dungeon, once per raid. Every oncr in a while you can get yourself out in a sticky situation. For everyone else, we already have Self-Found.
SSF, no trade or ah til 60, no petri, the only other thing that could be rough is dungeon loot and people just all needing bc they want money or whatever but also makes people more accountable as well i guess.
why ppl want classic + tho, classic is just the best mmo ever made, it works, why change it? just make some bug fixes and a few balance changes and its done.
I think the suggestion of, "Just remove petris," is a little boring. Why not entertain some idea of making petris drastically harder to craft or give crafting them a long CD like 3-4 days? I think there are iterations of petri flasks that could be very interesting, throwing them out immediately seems like a waste.
Removing Petri is a very dumb idea. You can never 100% rely on other players and it’s very stupid to advocate for the possibility of one troll wiping an entire raid because of no more Petri. Petri is required. Blizz, please DO NOT make the game based on what these streamers want.
SoD is leagues better than regular Vanilla or TBC but for some weird reason people like to hate on SoD. Makes no sense. Could you imagine prefering to play any mana using class on regular Vanilla over SoD? 🤯 I really don't understand people.
@@sproosemoose285 The only thing wrong with it is every healer should have a magic dispel and pvp ranks need to be skill based with an RBG & Arena MMR system. Other than that you're just on the ban wagon and can't form your own opinion. You gave zero reasons or examples as to how Fresh Vanilla or even TBC is better than SoD.

Every moron has their own opinion about what class should get what, or this or that. It's why SoD is a MESS when it comes to class balance. So that's point one. Point two: Incursions. This is what the current devs THOUGHT the players wanted. It shows you exactly where their heads are at: up in the clouds. They lack any kind of creativity and instead rip stuff straight from retail and slap it on to Vanilla. SoD devs lack the creativity, passion, vision and quite frankly the budget to make a worthy successor to Vanilla. At best, you'll get what retail is now, and at worse you'll just get SoD.
@@sproosemoose285 Ok but SoD is still better than regular Vanilla because of class balance alone. Not saying it's perfect as you see I have my own issues with it. But it's still WAYYY better than regular Vanilla. Ele Sham, Balance Druid, Spriest, Ret...exc in regular Vanilla are basically unplayable in a competitive environment. I'm not big on raiding as I mostly just pvp at max level (which the fact you have to raid in order to get good gear to pvp with is a whole other issue I have) but the level up raids imo were pretty fun. I know I'm in the minority when I say this but I also think the rune system was fuckjng bad a$$! They gave you the option to play a hybrid build better than any other expansion which is something the community likes to glorify with the old talent tree. You could be a Frost/Fire hybrid Mage with Living Bomb, a Boomy with Wild Growth, any Mage with the Chrono heal. And you could have multiple pairs of boots for example and as soon as combat drops you could rotate out those boots and swap to a pair with a different rune in between fights which really raised the skill ceiling especially in pvp. Again, I'm not making an argument saying SoD is perfect BUT I am saying it's better than regular vanilla. Not even close. Too many people just hear one person hate on something in wow then just agree. That's a problem that happens in every aspect of WoW it seems. People are afraid to disagree with someone and have their own opinion. That's all it is. If you can't see that SoD is better than no changes vanilla you've either got brain rot on a whole new level or you just wanna keep chasing some nostalgic dragon. Classic Era already exists. Now I can see them opening a seasonal server that then places your characters on the Classic Era server for those people. But man at least realize SoD still has a lot of positives. Think of how bad those "meme" specs are in regular vanilla...
