This is a REVISED version of the video "Onmyoji - First 6 Star And How To Get There," fixed the annoying audio thing, and made some small changes. Sorry for the repost, but I can't edit the audio without uploading a new video altogether.

I'd like to share my first 6 Star unit moment with you guys, and briefly talked about how I farmed mine. Keep in mind there is no one good way to farm your way to 6 star, feel free to tailor your farming habit based on your team and preferences.

Your videos are saving my brain so much anguish and confusion. This game seems like it has 1653637746 million mechanics and I’m kicking myself for picking it up for the storyline, not realizing that 25 levels later I would be kicking myself for not planning out how to acquire, level and promote my shikigami correctly...

how can you level up a daruma apart from putting them in realm and getting them to act as audience when doing missions

Besides putting them as spectator (audience) you can also put them into that battle to gain EXP quicker (like how you would normally lvl up a fodder). Or send them on dispatch missions, specifically the daruma missions. Or feed the red daruma to each other. The simplest thing to do for now would prolly be putting it in the team during battle and have your DPS carry it. You will pick up ways to lvl up daruma in time.

How do you have so many SSR, ive done close to 200 summons and no SSR, just the guaranteed one! I even got the bad luck achivement :'(( my luck in games is crazy...

So is it not recommended to use white darumas to promote? Why to upgrade and why upgrade the white darumas?

Its not recommended to use white darumas for earlier promote, such as G1-G3, but I'd like to use them for G4 to G5, and G5 to G6, in an ideal world, we would have unlimited white daruma as fodder, then we can use it whenever we need, but since white daruma is a scarce resource, we need to be selective on where we use them. Doing so will help save you time by leveling white darumas, instead of other units. As white daruma requires less experience to level up.

Thank you for the video, but what happens if you do not have enough white darumas. Do i use N fodders instead? They are insanely difficult to level up. Thank you

If you dont have enough white darumas, you will have no choice but to use N/R grade fodders, even though they are harder to lvl up. However, you may also choose to make a bunch of 3S max N/R grade fodders while waiting for white darumas (which can be obtained via the mall every week, events, shards) so that when you finally get a white daruma you can use those 3S max fodders to promote white darumas into 4S or 5S.

What's the benefit of using darumas as upgrade fodder? Isn't their intended purpose experience fodder? Don't they also give skill points? I'm new to the game so I don't understand

The white ones are for upgrade fodder because it takes the N cards so much longer. The red ones can be used as exp or level 3 fodders

Monday Morning He's my most favourite shikigami so I searched him up as he's also my first ssr. I read in Google that he's an amazing shikigami during late game. Specialises in duel and realm raid.

Nantha Kumar this. Judging by the skill set alone he definitely has potential. I got one of him myself and am consider building him bc I'm starting to have trouble in PVP

which one is more important: upgrade 1 shikigami to grade 6 or upgrade whole team to grade 5 ?

Delvin William I want to say 1 shikigami to 6s. But I definitely see the appeal considering they appear to both cost the same. But having 1 main DPS will let you farm faster which will help make the next 6s happen soonee

Beast Mode okay thankss, I’m considering to upgrade my ootengu to g6 (now grade 5). my first-team (yuki onna, zashiki, kusa, ubume) is all grade 4 now. upgrading them to grade 5 seem appealing, but you are right about the dps “thing”, so thankyou hha 👍

I have g5 ubume, yoto and ibaraki which should i focus on getting to g6? I still have a long way to go in regards to souls. Also with equipping souls to fodder, if i feed a fodder to another shiki with the souls equipped will I lose the souls?

If I were you, Ubume, then Yoto, then Ibaraki :) One of the best part about this game is even if you use a soul equiped unit as fodder, the souls will automatically get stripped down safely. This is a huge deal as some games dont do that automatically for you.

Im a newbie. From what you said is it right orb bonus from fodder can be used by the main char? I dont really know the system.

Yeah, if what you mean by main character is the DPS unit. Orbs are shared by the entire team, usually the more you have the merrier, bc skills require orbs to be used. we want the fodder to proivde more orbs so the DPS can use his skills more often, which makes clearing enemies faster.

Beast Mode i have aoe unit for main he has aoe skill on 3rd skill with second skill pasive. When i use auto, with full orbs on initial game she use normal atk instead of 3rd. Is there criteria to use auto skill 3??

Usually no, what is your AOE DPS if you dont mind me asking, sometimes it's the the AI being silly and not being smart enough to use the skill itself.

Iqbal Yozanda oh yeah that cute ice girl, Yuki Onna. Yeah her skills should be auto use so long you have enough orbs to use it. If problem persist blame the AI XD

How and where to get the material ? Can i buy the material or just explore?

You mean the fodders? You can get N grade fodders from broken amulets, broken amulets can be obtained in various game modes, like explorations, souls, evo dungeons, demon encounter. Same goes for red darumas, white darumas can be purchased in the mall with Honor pts and medals. In short just play a lot and you will eventually accumulate lots of fodder materials.

Which would be the best strategy to upgrade to 4 stars shikigami? Do you suggest to level up the shiki at 25 farming and then use 3 red daruma 3-stars or there is a better option?

That sounds about right, there are different ways to farm fodder/ lvl up shiki's like using realm cards, or red/blue darumas, but you cant go wrong with exploration. As mention in the video, save white daruma for G4 to G5, and G5 to G6 upgrades, until you become more frugal in the game and can get more white darumas. Besides that N grade, and red darumas are fairly safe choice to fodder away.

Thanks man!! So your suggestion to go faster in this process is to use lvled up red/blue darumas to reach max level for the shiki + realm cards for fodder/shiki. At the end upgrade the shiki with 3 red daruma. For 5 and 6 stars white daruma are the best to help to level and upgrade too.

Alessandro Bitetti actually if you are just starting out I'd stick with the pure exploration farm for EXP the other ways I've mention you can toy with later as you become more comfortable in game, bc if you are just starting out you likely don't have many red daruma to feed your fodders but instead you should use them as fodder instead of EXP booster, and since you are just starting out, you likely won't have many realm card lying around. So I prefer to just keep it simple and farm EXP in exploration myself, collect kekkai cards to fuse for special cards, and use red daruma as fodders

Kaim Maspudin choose between Ubume and Ibaraki.then it's up to you, both are good farmers if you raise them right

Im glad you asked, she is good, but not a lot of ppl know about her yet bc she's kinda niched. Veteran players use her with Ibaraki along with her summoning cursed dummy skill to amplify damage to bosses like Kraken or Orochi. unless you have Ibaraki right now, I wouldnt worry about building her. For the time being you can keep her in storage or just fodder her away (since she's R grade and not hard to get if you want to build her in the future)

Why would u upgrade the red darumas ? Prmoting it to grade 3

Its me Froste same reason why I upgraded N grade or R grade units to 3 and 4s, so I can use them as fodders for higher grade promotion. While red traumas main function is suppose to provide EXP for other units, I use them as fodders because it will take a lot of fodders to make a 6S unit.

Dezilen I'm pretty sure you cannot, the game will always place a unit there every chance it gets, the only thing we have control over is the units we place in there
