I love the way you guys do this and how much fun you have. This video just proves that it's a good idea to step away from name brands and try something new every once in a while. I love your content guys. Great job.
I have the Omn Rugged and I am completely satisfied with it and was thinking about purchasing another one next week however I will put that on hold for this one excellent video and I love the enthusiasm
thanks!!!! there actually the one speaker that looks like a marshal and its really good!!!! its the one that's 79.99~ I want believe its the same exacting only re badge you should do all the expensive onn!!!!
Great video but I'll stick with my JBL.... Jbl Encore essential for portability and JBL Ultimate when i just want it loud and to brag on how much i paid for it to others.....lol
i have the onn party large 2, the one that competes with the jbl partybox and similar sounds great for what i use it for with the students i teach, for the 110$ i got ti on sale for i canot complain one bit. The Onn brand stuff has come a long way in the past few years!
I just went on Wal - Mart’s website & realized that they have another version on the Soundcore Boom2. The Soundcore Boom2 SE. I guess that the SE stands for standard or stereo version. It has 2 15 watt full range drivers just like the original boom & it also has the bass up feature. The battery life is a little lower at 16 - 18 hrs & retails for $99.99.😂
Yeah it looks like a boom 2 but instead of having the one woofer and two tweeters it's got two drivers and it don't have lights on it. It definitely don't have the same bass the one you buy on Amazon
I take back what I said. It actually may be worth a try, cuz someone commented on another video that he has both versions and prefers the bass and sound quality of the SE. 🤔 Very possible considering the original Motion Boom, which I owned, plays about as loud with only 30 watts and just 2 drivers. Also the SE drivers appear to be different than those used in the original, so hopefully it's not shrill sounding like the original was.
I think Wilson is sorta correct. The bass button seems to boost upper bass most but then pushes more power across the board. I would like to see how that larger Onn does against the older Soundcore Motion Boom.
Onn boombox compares to like a soundcore boom,w King D8,transmart Bang SE. Onn does have FM radio built in it that is kind of nice. Now go get the onn medium party speaker for 89 bucks
Good Walmaert speaker right there. However I think the quality would breakdown at higher volumes because of the lack of sound separation (uses 2 mid-range drivers).
Hey man I just thought I'd tell you about this if you didn't know. On the samsung store you can download sound assistant you can throught there when you fully set it up add a 9 band eq to any speaker. Yeah, found this out the hard way when I accidentally activated it but had it on all treble bass and no mids.
I have 2 of them. It does distort at full volume with bass heavy music. I don't care, cuz they're still really good. Better than my 3 other boomboxes, the Motion Boom, WKing D9-1, and even the Motion Boom Plus which is shrill sounding. The Boom 2's sound is pleasing with great bass for it's size. Plus it's so light, the ergonomics, app and lights are great, and when paired in tws, is immersive.
@@markwexy1621 Thank you!!! It seems to you that the standard Soundcore Boom 2, even if it distorts, is better than the JBL Charge 5. It doesn't distort...
@@markwexy1621 The plastic grid of the Soundcore Boom 2. Is it fragile? I knew it's not made of metal and I have that doubt. Some RU-vidrs say that the grid is made of cheap plastic, is it true?
@@juanfigueroa4305 Thankfully it's plastic, I don't have to worry about it rusting like the metal grill did on my Motion Boom Plus. I had to take that off and paint it. The plastic definitely doesn't feel cheap. I just think this is the one speaker that time and again I find myself grabbing and going, because it's sooo lightweight and compact, and yet has pretty darn good sound with satisfying bass.
@@juanfigueroa4305 I can't speak to the Charge 5. I just know that the Charge 5 is quite a bit smaller and lighter, so my guess is it doesn't have the bass, fullness and volume of the Boom 2. Plus it costs way more than the Boom 2.
