Still the game doesn't have feeling that WW2 had. BF1 was so grate That you can see what is missing in BF5 and its not just maps, Its the environment , the color , the mods that ruined and the guns sound and more and more that just not so good. i play only breakthrough because all other mods are just boring even with this news the new maps i think this game is one of the worst Battlefield ever.

Fortes Fortuna Juvat That’s my point,though to be fair war thunder mostly focus on vehicle and physics mechanics to make the gameplay more realistic whilst battlefield is much simpler and has many more aspects and other things it focuses mire on.Thus,warthunder they have a varying amounts of ways to play effectively,manoeuvres capable with combat flaps whereas battlefield pilots have to stay with basic flight mechanics which albeit are realistic to a degree,fail to add usability or playability as the players only control direction and aircraft speed in a certain range.

@@corsair7158 I wouldn't say it makes a big difference, it's perhaps slightly annoying, but still easily manageable. In most cases the G2 on your tail will be equipped with the 2x 20mm and radar package anyway, making that smoke obsolete. Also, it's not like they specifically chose to equip the smoke for this purpose. It's essentially a forced specialisation if you want to use the 8x .303 Spitfire build, which ofc, you do.

In all fairness you dont truly get to see footage of them maneuvering in wartime....theres some but not good quality...we just know what they kind of did....and its honestly not talked about much the maneuvers and most regular people who doesn't LOVE planes probably will not use true tactics cuz they just don't know....

@Niccaman I was having a blast flying against Friendly-Fire and his teammate on Fjell - top10 jet fighter in bf4 They were using the exact same tactics with smoke all over and hitting the breaks for a stall turn! I took him down once and hellfire started raining on me as I was the only decent pilot on my team and he obviously had a crazy skilled wingman. Good times.

Hm, the break maneuver is the most effective. Team play matters always. But also equipment like Nitro can help. And the knowing about the different types can help. When you know your plane can better turn than turn. If your enemy fly the better turner better find another solution 😉

I play on console an x old pc gamer myself og pilot myself with the bf series now that I switched to consoles n my later gaming days when I get time I’m still having fun with flying round getting a kill here n there or have a good dog fight

The maps are too small for air to air combat. The maps need to be 2 the current size for Good air to air combat to start as your just flying too fast for the same map size as bf1. The max height also needs to be tripled and they need to fix air speed in dives so altitude and speed matter in dog fights. But if you're doing that they'll have to change so much about aircraft physics it'd be months till we see those sorts of changes

The plane Nicca used in the video is the BF109 G2, I used to fly only the BF109 G6 with the Minengeschoss, cause its main MGs are decent against planes and its explosive rounds (Minengeschoss) are kinda decent against infantry. There isn't any BF102.

Chicha 17 so true, i took me 50 hours at least to get on a lvl i would call above average but it has taken me another 120 or so to get good and it will probably take another 100 to perfect my settings and get all the different plane mechanics down(difference in strafes between for example spitfire va and bf109 g6)

Is not very difficult to do, or at least in WT. Actually is pretty basic.
