No, this is one thing you can't blame solely on the educational system. This is home training or lack there of. This is also fear, and racism working together. When Trump was in office, Americans were coming up to Canada to buy insulin. They couldn’t believe how low our pharmaceutical prices are because our government has standardized pricing. The pharmaceutical companies can except the pricing, or the government will buy from a different pharmaceutical company. Even with standardized pricing, the pharmaceutical companies make a good profit and there has been no reduction in the amount they sell to Canada.

David, I take 2 insulins here in New Orleans, a fast acting and a slow one . One is for 3 hours , the other 24 hours . Under Trump,vi paid 300 dollars a month. Under Biden , I now pay 120 dollars. That woman is out of her mind.

The reason his followers have sunk to cult levels, is because he has made indecency acceptable, *he has freed them from the constraints of decency* . He has liberated them from having to be moral, from having to demonstrate empathy, of having to be just to everyone. He has shown them that ignorance is as powerful as knowledge, so he has freed them from having to seek it. He has not only allowed them to be their worse, not just to free their bigotry, but to be proud of it, to be proud of their worse instincts, and so they love him for it, he is the messiah who has set them free of decency. This is what they mean by "relatable".

David, the people at trump rallies make up 30% or so of the republicans who voted for trump two times. It's the other 70% we should be talking to because some of them are open to rational conversation. We need to reach out to our family members, our friends, and other people and have discussions about the things President Biden has accomplished and plans to accomplish. Highlighting the worst about others is not the way to make them love you. Highlighting the path to improvement without focusing on their flaws works.
