I visited in January 2018 for 10 days 5 years ago It was nice to see the friendly look and nice to see the place as it is. It is one of the place I definitely want to visit again. I miss the lively appearance of the streets, I miss the friendly and bright faces of the tourists Great vlog, like and support from kerala

As per my knowlege any kind of rental vehicle is not allowed in ooty. I tried to hire a bike from bangalore for ooty trip but the rental agency themselves told me that no rental vehicle is allowed there then I did my research as well. But I wd still suggest u once call any rental agency in coimbatore and enquire abt this once before making ur decision.
Taxi to where ??? Ooty? If yss theb surely there are many private taxis or from coimbatore u can take taxi to mettupalyam station if u have booked toy train to ooty.
Ys private vehicles are allowed, in june there can be little afternoon showers but definitely its one of the seasons in which u can see greenery esepecially along the route in mudumalai tiger reserve . U can expect normal crowd at this time of the year not too mch.
Sorry we did our trip on bike so we didnot book any cab there but you can easily find cabs around the ooty station and bus stand or u can also get the contacts of cab and also auto drivers who can give day tours to u from ur hotels. Once u get in ooty u dont have to worry much for cabs u can find them easily. Best option is to ask hotel staff they will tell u and also u can bargain.

The hotel I have mentioned in video is a govt holiday Home and is strictly for govt officials with maxm 8 people in one room. So govt employees book rooms u all can be accomodated there. If u r more than 3 persons I wd suggest book a jeep or cab and if 2bor 3 persons then u can also find autos near ooty bus stand they wd charge around 1200 for the day. That wd be economical.
Yes sure ,u will be able to see mudumalai tiger reserve its prime beauty while going ooty and some of the places would be a lot vibrant in monsoons but u have to deal with fog especially in view points youwill not be able to see the valleys unless u get lucky. And not to forget its always risky in monsoons if u ride or drive in hairpin bends in monsoons. After evaluating all this u can make ur decision. If u go via mysore then u will have to cross mudumalai tiger reserve its the shortest way from bangalore . I think also I have shown the route map in video in modes of travel.
Yes you will find soothing climate now its a good destination for summer holidays too only monsoons are a bit risky other than that u can visit ooty anytime of the year.
There is no legal way, the only way is if u contact ur hotel owner and he can arrange a personal bike or scotty for you, then only u can rent a bike or scooty here. Otherwise it cant be done openly.

Bhai bike rentals nai milti legally waha pe, mai apni bike le gya tha waha bangalore se. Agar illegally koi deta hai apni personal bike ya scooty rent pe to hotel wale hi bta skte hai. So do ask them once.
