And why you shouldn’t get into a relationship with someone else after a bad one ends until you’ve done therapy and worked to get over your trauma first. The OPs ex used her a punching bag because he couldn’t do anything to the woman that hurt him, and that’s disgusting.

You can tell OPs ex will never change by how he reacted to her explaining why she was leaving. The fact he was completely emotionless throughout the whole thing show that he doesnt care. It was only when she was walking out and he realized he was losing his punching bag that he finally decided to give a damn.

agreed. And the F abuse i wonder if it came from him thinking money = love to begin with. So, he kept showing said woman out of his league with 'money" instead of creating an actual connection with her to see who she was. He has so much work to do as an actual human being in general. The fact he wasn't in therapy after abuse was a red flag to begin with. People who take that stuff seriously, and want to make sure they can love properly because they care get help. This aint the 80s.

I don’t know how many times I have to say this but ESCAPING ABUSE IS NOT A “BAD ENDING.” It’s promise for a new future and as far as I’m concerned, a happy ending. Maybe not the fairy tail ending, but ultimately you’re alive and can make a new path. It’s hope.

Are we sure it was the ex who was the only one who was abusive here? OP's fiance sounds like he also contributed to that abuse. Even if it was just the ex who was abusive, OP's fiance has turned one hundred percent into the abuser. I'd run from that relationship and since the furniture was paid for by me, I'd take the furniture with me when I moved out because I am going to need it. If he wants to take me to court, all I have to do is provide the receipts. I feel bad for the man here, though. He wasn't coping very well and I imagine that he was acting this way as a means to protect himself. But he was being horrible to his current SO and needs help. I feel that he really needed to get out of that house because it was what the ex wanted... Can you imagine how that would feel? Glad that he's getting the help he needed.

All that money and couldn't buy, sense, class, or THERAPY. Gonna die alone like Scrooge, but no ghosts to make him reflect on his actions, just torment him. It was unfortunate what happened with her ex, but that was mostly a choice of HIS doing and now lost someone who actually cared about him genuinely. If it was that serious, he could've fought in court, and stull can, but chose not to. That's on HIM.

Yeah, OP ex isnt being abusive. Leaving him is fine, but reddit seemed to destroy any care she had for him. Redditors are terrible people - many of them seemed to not have any sympathy for the OP ex.

No that's abuse. If anyone is repeatedly calling you a gold digger when you pay for the bills of THEIR HOUSE, you do anything and everything for them and God forbid you want something as simple as basic curtains for the windows and all they do is get angry then it is very much abuse

Her boss should have also explained to her that women never change either and that that to dont deserve a second chance. So now my question how is she going to be with her next date will she compare him to her ex or will really except him for all he is? Flaws and all? Or will he be expected to live up to some standard that no one will ever live up to because her ex treated her wrong? Will she project?

Relax, OP did go to therapy and probally will keep going sometimes unlike her ex who only did that after OP finally got tired of his abussive treatment towards her. Also the boss said that only about man because probally OP isn't bissexual and if she is the boss probally don't know, so damn, just stop with your paranoia.

Buddy he wanted to convert to paper plates for food, while living in a manseon. His ex was treated like a queen, which was cause of her gold digging nature but he still laveshed her. So in his next relationship he starts boarderline financially abusing her, making her pay for practically everything and refusing any piece of rembursment. He supports her less than the average guy, let alone a man with millions. The dude let his truma overtake his basic sense of relationship respect so he could feel more secure. That isn't her fault.

@@laughterableFirst of all, I'm not your "buddy". Second, good job at tl:dw for the entire video. However, she's not entitled for anything. One of the tenents of modern living is that you're not owed anything (including happiness), and she's not owed luxurious living. He gave her just enough, but she is both phisically and mentally weak. Not to mention her fantasising about becoming a SAHM and leeching off his cash - it's silly to assume they woudn't had hired help around the house, so she would live a life free from any sort of labor. Isn't it just funny how she latched to a super rich guy, or all people? Another tenet is everything a "victim" doesn't like is abuse or toxic, or any other buzzword coined by so-called "paid professionals". The only thing she's a victim of is her own entitlement.

@@nancyoneill-buck6033Have you considered the possibility he was actually ok with the temperature? It's his home, and he might be totally comfortable with it. The woman probably never took a cold shower in her life, and is complaining because of a mild temperature decrease. She's not entitled to it, and if she wanted something different, she should've moved out earlier, instead of fermenting in her greed for a future life of luxury, covering it up with fancy words that make her sound like the victim of horrible... "gulp"... ABUSE
