That Vinsmoke player read that final turn perfectly even though the other player was trying to bluff him out.

It's one of those decks that I feel like you need to know in-and-out & play near-perfect at high levels like this

honestly 6don turn for reiju is so awkward. You want to keep 6 in case you can play Judge next turn. But at the same time, sometimes your best play is to -Don for a buffed Vinsmoke and then you can't judge for 2 turns which kinda blows. That's probably why this reiju player didn't use mini reiju into big and opted to stage to try and draw it instead.

I totally agree that Judge can make things awkward. It’s such a powerful card but it’s a specific line to play. I can’t wait to see more high level gameplay of her at my locals and such to understand more

@@atrocioustcg ya, a lot of the deck is knowing when to -Don and when to just play the big versions straight up. Otherwise, it'll be like almost 7 turns before you'd get to play judge and by then, your opponents will have large characters out that make it difficult for the Vinsmokes to catch up given judge is only an 8k and ichiji is 7k (big but not big compared to 9-10k+ characters).

20:30 Also, Ichiji minuses a character by 2000 power when he hits the field, and there were 2 Ichiji's played that turn and I believe both of them targeted Sabo for a minus 4k power total, which is why he didn't just pitch a 2k counter or anything.

at 6:15 minutes left when the reiju already had minus 4 he could have played rebecca to put rob lucci into hand and play hina minusing the yonji then play the lucci from hand putting 2 bodys onto the board and a blocker while saving a 2k counter

5:40 Just thought it was important to note, Moria wouldn't have been able to play Perona at this point since his opponent only had 4 cards in hand, and to use Perona they need to have 5 or more.

Its funny today a top 4 in locals (messed up against perona) but during testing in sim never played judge even though ofnit as a useless card, but today i played him every single game and was crazy thr amount of advantag that gives.

Honestly it’s pretty rare for me to play judge if I do I would have decided like 2 turns before and that has to do with how much the opponent clears from my board. Main play is to keep buffing minis

Appreciate your content but the amount of mistakes in your commentary really makes these less enjoyable. Not knowing what cards do, bad hypothetical lines, poor analysis of why the players made certain decisions...

This was my first game watching Reiju in a format that I've never played, and I've never (& will never) claim to be the "all knowing" or "best player". That's why in most videos I saying something along the lines of "let me know in the comments what you would do" or give people the link to watch the actual event if they don't enjoy my commentary. I use these videos as an outlet for myself to learn & improve, and you can see in many of my comments that I don't dismiss the people who correct / advise different aspects of the games I cover. Thanks for the comment though, it'll help push more in the algorithm and maybe bring some people that can help point out different perspectives and better lines of play to help me improve
