at 18:04, I think it would have been safer to just put the don on Franky and attack the Bonney character so that either they block and then you play Yamato to kill Bonney afterwards or they let her go and kill the Urouge with Yamato and then attack life. The reason I mention it is that if the opponent had a 1k in hand it could have protected the bonney instead of guarantying a cleared board.
In the Enel mirror I find it pretty pointless to starve. Especially if you have an onami in hand (banish and attack). There’s no real targets you want to get with gedatsu or yamato. If you see that he’s starving you, and you attack, then you take Yamato off the board for both and you have more health.
