thank you for sacrificing your wits playing this leader haha. Wish you could have tried the re-stand event, since foxy leader effect is not once per turn, but I get -6 don is big investment.
I think your mistake on the first game was attacking life so early when you should’ve establish board and starve the opponent, making him use his 2k to take his own life. He had a lot of 2k to counter on end game
You are probably right. Starving feels less and less like a viable strategy vs BY Luffy though when it allows them to freely set up 10 cost Kuzan and other such powerful cards.
Man i really have to say after giving this Deck a try since Foxy is actually one of my favourite underrated characters from the anime... THIS DECK SUCKS ASS. It feels like it is outplaying itself in every possible way. If u see the ramp and you ramp you have too much don to use all your purple effects. If you dont see ramp you cant use leader every turn or u are stuck at low don an loose bc u cant play big pan, 7c foxy, etc. Then if your opponent has good removal you cant comfortable get to 3 foxy pirates to make your leader work. And Even if everything works out as intended you are sitting there with 2 cards in hand.
Yea it’s weird how anti synergy it feels with itself. You have to approach the game on a two stage plan. First plan just ramp at least twice and have 3 Foxy on the field. After that when you’re at 9 or 10 don you can start freely using your leader ability which will enable you to play the other half of your deck. I’m with you though, it sucks.
