Welcome in team! Today we dive into R/P luffy, a deck in which is slept on by many. Being a 6k leader has its uses, but being in a slower meta, in which you can ramp huge bodies very quickly is another story. And R/P luffy, does a very good job at curving out from a zorojuro into a Mr 2. Bon clay to Edward Newgate on turn 4. I feel R/P luffy has some very good matches in the format, be it Enel, B/Y luffy, we have the ability to not attack until we have enough huge bodies to go for game! Let alone matches like moria, are also quite good, overall, this deck is one of the many favorites going around in the current meta. Please dont overlook it! Hope you all enjoy your day, and thank you for coming to watch ^^
@@patricknoel5747 I thought I did really well that game tbh. But just having multiple opportunities to heal twice for 1 card + leader is crazy sometimes lol
at 15:30 its better to drop G5 first, use leader ability to get active don, then use G5 ability for another ramp, swing 7k, start new turn, G5 ramp again, then you can drop Sanji blocker for only 3 don and you still have one active since you should have 5 don this turn
Uff the law at six in hand hurt the soul lol. Regardless great video. Always lose to enel but never tried the stacking board strategy before. Will shoot for that this upcoming locals.
Trust me, I do it in person to. It’s one of those “ha got em” and than you realize. lol Yeah I’ve been taking that approach into Enel now, force him to lose 3 life to kingdom come (raigo) a big body.
Going to 9000 with Newgate and Kid, that's so nutty. Might be looking to get myself playsets of those cards. Also, regarding the Enel ... You know how I feel about it. 😂
Yeaaah its quite tough to deal with that, having a 10k body on board, 9k leader, pretty nutty. Def considering how fast you can hit 8k leader on turn 4. Side note, that Enel, can step on a lego.
I'd suggest adding 2 10c Shanks into the deck for answers to (10c Doffy, 8c Kid, 9c Yamato, 8c Kata, 10c Ace, 8c Gecko Moria) and other boss characters that may have to respond too. I've removed 7c kid as this card always feels weak in most match-ups and hurts the goal of 10don ramping.
@@PawsePlays I've been running this leader a lot the last week or so and made the change to shanks and took out the 7c kids as on average I felt the 7c kids are great for unique situations. Great video mate.
@@KicksArk Yeah I really like the 7c kid, its nice being a 9k body on a newgate turn sometimes. (if all perfect pieces fit together) than other times kid gets removed, understandably. I do think shanks really suits this deck for the current meta. Alot of big threats to deal with! Thank you, I appreciate the feedback & support! Always try to get to everyone comments ^^
As a Ener main and Luffy RP secondary it is not how I play as Luffy against enel 😂, I swing into him either with lead or my cards try to make him trash some cards and then yeah at the end i go for game and hopefully he has "just" one or two life and a shorter hand and i drop the gear 5 luffy magic
