I like WW for the trigger ability, on play KO and 2k power. Maria is rarely used so she can be cycled out if you want to save money. I personally dont like any of the big kaidos. Dont love losing all that Don. Jack, Kuzan and LinLin are the main gas of the deck so other top end isnt necessary. Great vid
Exactly, I much rather use Who’s who. In which he’s in my main variant, the trigger and effect does come up often. I like 9C rush kaido. But I prefer 9C OP08 kaido. For BY Luffy and Pudding / Enel. Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it ^^
One of the best analyses of King leader I have watched so far. But ramping is losing the game against most top matchup. If you stick to Don efficiency and Black shenanigans, plays solid.
Funny enough I feel the same. Some builds tend to rely heavily on a bunch of ramp cards. Which can hurt you. We’re already black, we have access to tons of resources. Let alone healing with big mom, to survive in most cases. The only deck I haven’t fully figured out how to beat is Zoro. But I do have an idea I’m willing to explore.
@@PawsePlays I got a few ideas for you. One is 4c Lucci, that double K'O is the best anti-aggro weapon you can have. The other choices are cards that attack active characters, being 7c Luffy and Cavendish. Cavendish is rarely ever used because of his secondary effect, but it's a "You May." Meaning you don't have to. You want him for his primary effect, 1 Don "allows to to attack active characters." He is 7k CP with the Don, and becomes a big threat on board. Both can be recovered from trash to hand by Rebecca. The other is 5c Garp, that 4 or less K'O, allows you to deal with lots of things from Zoro. Without reduction resources.
I’ve used different lists with garp, show cased some builds in the last king video. I like garp, he works well here. Lucci, I have ideas with sheep. For aggro matchups
I will always love Yamato(just made an egghead build) but I’m sitting with pudding and Bonney super hard. I win way more with pudding even over Bonney. I just started practicing with st14 Luffy and I like it. I’m excited to try this version of king. I only own 2 kuzan so I’ll put something in there, maybe a 8c Sabo.
I was very excited for Bonney, something new, I usually never play green decks locally. Unless Doffy or Yamato. But Bonney is way to slow / stall for my liking. Pudding ofc is amazingly fun to play.
@@PawsePlays so I like playing Bonney especially with carrot and Pedro. I play pretty aggressive with Bonney each turn and build up to my Zoros which I run 4 of. Hody is occasionally pulled out around 7 or 8 don if I’ve had enough counter or blockers in the first couple turns. I had a kaido deck that kept dropping my Zoros but I kept his board cleared and 3 turns in a row dropped Zoro until he stuck 😂😂 I know Bonney isn’t super rush but dropping carrot off rosinante is so good especially against decks like st14 Luffy.
Yeah its hella annoying. The most recent regional, for nov 2nd in wisconsin, i sat in que from 11:30am - 12noon. (tickets started at 12noon) it sold out, while I was in que. And this isnt the first time this has happened to me or many others. Its quite ridiculous. Im not a fan of the bs regional webcam events, so I typically dont bother with those. All the cheaters, and crap, just aint worth it. Besides I play tcgs, I like meeting people, and talking. I hate sitting here behind a screen, for a TCG in which is meant to be played w/ people, interacting. Come on now.
I’m not stressing if I don’t see oni, but yes, oni and any big body. Is typically what I’m searching for. If not, queen searcher or the 1c event searcher. By Luffy was stressful haha
And one more question, the kuzan could be substituted in any sort of way? Like Issho? And in game 3 you used “to die for” you put it in the deck instead of ehat?
I love your builds and experimentations with the different variants, I wish you showed what it looked like when you can’t find ramp though. And also against Aggro match ups like sabo, Zoro, Reiju, and kalgara
Most of the matches are in my previous king video. Zoro, you’re not winning against 9/10. Kalgaro isn’t to much of an issue. Reiju, and Zoro are highly difficult
@@Xel921 I genuinely don’t have to much of an issue vs Kalgara if I draw into big moms. Zoro… I have no strategy for yet. He wreaks me, Zoro does very well vs many decks atm. I thought about toying around with 4c lucci, and sheep event. Instead of ice age, but idk yet
Couldnt that bonney player rest your hitokiri with leader ability instead of the kuzan since you just played kuzan so he cant swing anyway? So when you tried to pop the basil, he could have rested kuzan
You should try 2 of gecko 8 cost Gecko into kamazo into tsuru.. than leader ability and kill one of the bodys trough kamazo 9 don You can kill a 9 cost char 1 don ice age 8 don gecko into kamazo into tsuru Leader ability 9 cost down
You should try watching the deck profiles. I’ve gone over gecko many times. He’s not as effective here vs in lucci. I can also kill a 9c with 1 kaido and leader. Or 9c linlin and ice age. This isn’t lucci where im getting back multiple bodies. Also gecko here on curve. Is terrible. Dropping down 2 2k for 1 card pop is very lackluster. Instead you can sabo 8c and 1 ice age and kill 2 huge bodies. So many ways gecko isn’t great here
