Oglądasz sobie taki przejazd. Zaczynasz czuć bluesa, 60km i ani kropli benzynki. Akurat zasięg pasuje do trasy do Twojej pracy i z powrotem. Masz dom i możliwość ładowania, jesteś dojrzałym świadomym człowiekiem. W rozważaniach pomijasz wagę auta mniejszy bagażnik i cenę. Jesteś już prawie przekonany, że ta droga motoryzacji jest właściwa i zaczynasz chcieć na nią wjechać. A tu nagle na głównej kolejny film innego twórcy a tam BMW X3M Manhart 600 kunia....

Great economical driving ! Most drivers don‘t have that skill of driving gently , letting it coast when seeing a red light and looking ahead for traffic Would be nice if you could test the Mercedes A250e /B250e soon !

When you have a full hybrid like a Toyota you quickly learn how to drive correctly. I love to see the battery status go up when I gently break toward a red light. When shutting down it gives you a score and a short analysis of your driving. I don't think, that Plug in driver are taking care so much of that in the end, because they are not able to regenerate power due to the Li ion battery installed (which regenerates slower then the NiMh).

Battalon Agree , in fact , most Plug-in-Hybrids bought here in Germany are the heavy upper class cars (such as E300De ect. ) And because Plug-ins are only taxed 0,5% if You use a company car for private trips , many don’t actually about the Battery , just buying that care to Safe lots of money Here a short example : Assuming that a Mercedes E class with a diesel costs 60 K€ , that’s 600€ per month to pay for the private user of a company car . Now same with a Plug-In-Hybrid only 300€ ! Every car manufacturer should go the way Toyota is going , going with Full hybrid cars and Atkinson cycle which Safe tons of fuel without much extra weight or cost . Toyota Camry 2,5l Hybrid in City : 4 Liters Any car in that class with a combustion engine would be around ~8 liters . So much fuel could be saved by implementing these techniches I hope this won’t stay a dream but seems like it will 🤢

@@Abu-Talha-Al-Kurdi The problem are the people. Everyone around me told me, that the hybrid is not efficient... especially on the highway. I have read a comment that the hybrid JUST charge the 12V battery. I get 5,7-6,1(+0,5l because the calculated consumption is not correct). That is still a very good result for a 2.0l engine. My old 1.4l 97hp Corolla consumed 7-8l.

Great video, thank you! One thing to notice, though. At the mark of 61km, the petrol engine merely turned on, but it was still using the rear electric motor for driving. When this happens, the petrol engine is merely getting prepared for taking over the workload, but it's not yet doing anything else but idling. I know - this starts consuming petrol, but still it's just the electric motor doing all the work. I have the same car, and when the petrol engine starts idling, you usually have one or two kilometers left in the battery, depending on the terrain, temperature, driving conditions, and how heavily/sporty you drive.

I think at that time ICE charge the battery (the sound is different comparing to typical idling), but somehow the computer does not show the proper energy flow
