Hi Thelma…newer subscriber here! I can’t tell you enough how much I enjoy your videos…this one was fabulous! 👍 The best part was at the end discussing the refund belief. It was so refreshing to hear the honesty and respect for each other that you announced with such grace with regard to the pendant….kudoes to you Thelma….keep being you ❤️
Oh my goodness! That un boxing was just glorious. I love how so many of the items were in those little boxes. It just increases the anticipation- and joy. Great to hear the helpful snippets on ethics you offer resellers too. Thanks once more Thelma. 😊😘🇳🇿
Hello Thelma. I absolutely loved every single piece of jewelry you showed. The emerald ring is exquisite. The elephant necklace is magnificent. I can’t say enough about the beauty of these pieces. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving friend!❤🦃❤️🍗💕
That cross on the chain was a "fairy stone" found in Virginia. We use to find them all the time but they are kind of scarce now so you can't really find them very often. They occur naturally.
Gosh this was fabulous, and I really loved most of jewelry that you showed. The Avon jewelry was pretty! I like vintage Avon. Your emerald ring was exquisite. The rose ring was pretty. I loved the Chacha bracelet. Thanks Thelma ❤️
I loved this video. In fact I love all your videos. The jewelry jar was filled with amazing and gorgeous jewelry I loved it all. That inlaid cross pendant was amazing too bad the stone fell out . Thank you for sharing your treasures with us.
Good morning Thelma, thank you so much for another wonderful video. LOVE the emerald ring!!! Mia has the most amazing things. I’ve only just started watching her… also Thelma I just wanted to let you know I finally bit the bullet and uploaded my first video. I was so nervous and I kind of didn’t know what direction to go in but I did it. Thank you for your inspiration, I’m truly grateful. ❤❤❤
@@ThelmaThrift thank you so much Thelma. I felt like a baby giraffe trying to find her legs, but I hope/ believe my videos will get better as I go along. 🙏♥️

@@ThelmaThrift Oh Thelma, that means so much to me. I truly meant every word I said about you. Thank you for your kind words, inspiration and for subbing. Bless you 🙏♥️
The little brown cross is called a fairy tear. They are found that way in nature around Virginia, if I remember correctly. They are brittle and break easily. There is a story to go with them. Often sold in souvenir shops. Not expensive.
I remember you having to send back that ankh. Poor Mia. She felt so bad. But that box was great! She's a real gem herself ! Just like you! You wear that emerald ring a lot! Hopefully after the holidays we can get together soon again! Love ya❤❤❤❤
Hello Thelma! I really enjoy your videos! Thank you for sharing such beautiful vintage items! Do you have any recommendations on where to get quality jewelry jars like the ones you get? I would love to know some sources ! Thank you!
LOL!!! Not exactly- the box that held it, was inches from a leather clad table - the piece was obviously compromised prior or that would not have happened - as if it was dropped onto a ceramic floor. Thanks for watching.
That little cross you thought was wood is actually a natural occurring crystal. My parents bought one for me when I was a child. I'm sorry, I don't remember what cave it came from.
I don't understand why you had to contact Mia about the pendant. You dropped it and the stone popped out. It could easily be glued back in. As both a buyer and a seller, with experience and emotions from both ends, I wouldn't have put the blame on the seller for that! I'm sorry if this is an unpopular opinion. The piece was in perfect condition as far as she knew, when she mailed it out. It's not her fault. Vintage jewelry is fragile. Stuff has to be repaired from time to time. It literally broke in your own hands when you dropped it. I might be a little wound up lately because I keep seeing people blaming other people for things that aren't their fault, sorry.
I did not drop it! It slid out of the box onto a padded, leather desk mat; Inlaid stones are not glued! Glue severely damages stones. The piece was compromised (likely from age) to begin with age, stones can naturally shrink or chip away. Moreover, I have literally dropped similar jewelry on ceramic floors when putting away, or on without any damage whatsoever ! The issue is obvious to anyone with jewelry knowledge and experience Mia acknowledged it, and did the right thing - she can then take it to a PROFESSIONAL jeweler to have it repaired CORRECTLY - I’m certain no glued is utilized.
That may be true about glue, but I still wouldn't have put it on her, I would have accepted it as being sent out in good faith in good condition. Not her fault. I think it's bad form.@@ThelmaThrift
@@LaraLovesJewelry-14k925 I did not put it on her, she accepted the responsibility - as most good resellers would have done; you have no idea of the amount paid or the conversation that took place. Thanks for watching.
@@lynnkurdi6282 Lynn this video was recorded months ago and that ring was the one I auditioned, you won it and then gifted it to Liz because she came in with a bid when the auction was over - I’m sorry that occurred.
