open all hours always reminds me of the local corner from my childhood and was every shopkeeper really like that in the 70's well the the answer is yes.
Bread still gets sold uncovered! Especially baguettes! Some shopkeepers would drape clear plastic spread on them but mostly just arrange them and leave them be. ☺️ As for canned foods, stocking them is much easier on the pocket than providing fresh foods. Costly, requires proper storage and spols fast.. if not sold you’ll eaither eat it yourself or sell it to a cattle farm… cheap! 🤷🏻♀️ Arkwright did sell a few fresh foods. You see them cabbages and potatoes, some apples and oranges too.. I saw bananas at one time too.😊 Only once for those rot fast! 😅
I hate how these programs have the fake audience laugh, they conveniently stop laughing when another jokes coming, it sound stupid, Theyre mostly females , it's like they once got an audience drunk then did somthing funny made them all laugh then though ok wev got them now let's turn them up and place them right behind our jokes, they laugh hard when there's no good joke, like taking the the tills spring to the vet to be put down, that's not funny
