I love the designs people have for the Lotus Eaters, but I find it kinda funny how everyone makes them little creatures when in the actual story of The Odyssey, the Lotus Eaters are just a bunch of people high off the lotus fruit lol. The voices in the song definitely fit the designs here though

Neat look for the lotus eaters, but in the story they are normal people addicted to the lotus. In the song it explains that the lotus fruit takes controll of their mind. They loose all sense of urgency and stay on the island living there instead of going home. The lotus symbolized addiction in the Greek myths and hence the lotus fruit being a mind controlling thing. In the story they are ussaly not forceful or trying to make others eat the fruit. They just offer it and if the traveler eats it then they join, but if not then it's whatever
