Thank you for saying "Take your time, no need to rush." Because there are so many adverts saying learn in 5 min or 5 days or some rubbish like that. Also how many times do we see that dreaded word "Hack" being used..... Learning properly takes TIME.

Hi from Cognac, France :) I recently had the distal phalanx of my left hand amputated... so I really appreciate this lesson, which gives me a new approach to playing. Thank you so much !😊
great lesson am I right thinking if yo capo at the 2nd fret you change it to open E tuning and can use the same chord shapes, just like you would use the capo in standard tuning?
Hi Joe, Thanks for this lesson. I went to your lesson on "Rambling on my Mind" you referred to, but it is in Open E. Do you have this lesson in Open D? Thanks a lot.
Thanks for posting Frank, everything seems to be working my end ? So not sure why you are not getting pop ups, anyways all links are also in description

Nice video. I am struggling. I used to play almost exclusively finger picking. I had a mini stroke, thank God it was not a full on stroke, and I don't have good control of the right hand. But I'm not giving up and using a 12 string Martin to increase strength and I love the sound.
Thanks for posting Ted The 12 string has a great sound well done to you for persevering and sticking with it. I wish you great success and I’m sure that you will get much enjoyment during your recovery. Just in case you’re interested, I have lots of fingernail content over on my Patreon page with all ranges covered from very basic up to advanced www.patreon.com/joesguitarlessons all the very best.
Fretted extra note ---not upstroke --you added a extra fretted note --cannot see --hidden by your fingers ----never mind ---I/ll figure it out if you have tab -----
What I noticed as a newbie is that Open E open G open D have similar Chords. I mean if you think about it you just have the same shapes, Across the fret board I should say.
!! 1/2 way thru trying to Tune my individual Strings to his, realize he Tunes bottom to Top! (of course, official String Order but for Dyslexics, challenging!) but I do appreciate I had some reference point to Tune my Strings with.
