Relive the action from Kingsport, Tennessee! Eight of the world's longest drivers go head-to-head before a champion is crowned at the first major tour event of the year!
This is how u do long drive, 3 balls vs 3 balls back in forth, Puts competitors on the spot with a lot more pressure and they need to be a lot more accurate then just swinging away at 6 balls, This is awesome and the prize pool pay outs are decent too, Just need this in Australia now lol
One of my buddies with tiny arms punched the head off of his 3 wood with that same amount of effort. I know they’re not designed for punching or slapping but you’d think they could take an uppercut. Good excuse to buy a new shiny one.
Came here because I kept seeing some dude breaking his driver doing a weird double swing. Can someone explain explain what the point of doing a double swing is? Is it just to get views or is there an actual technique in doing so?
Some absolutely attrocious techniques , Rory Mcllroy must be giggling his socks off if he watches this , it's like they are trying to outdo Happy Gilmour lol
Tbh 30k ain’t much for the dedication and time these guys put into this. I’m not saying they need PGA money. But 5-7k that barely covers the trip costs for these guys
Jack Smith is the only one who has a golf swing, the others all have long drive swings. Jack Swing may be able to play on tour if he practice. He has the swing. One thing I don't understand is why Jack Smith ball rolls so much further. Kyle has higher club speed and ball speed, and back spin is just a little higher, but his shot had no roll. Perhaps is lauch angle.
certain parts of the grid roll more and the flight and spin really matter like you said plus he was hitting a bit more of a draw shot then Kyle. If that 166 mph swing of Kyle's connected it would have been 415 plus
Over compression is also another issue as these balls perform at their best at certain speed and spin numbers. The fastest guys don't have the most optimize spin and launch for these golf balls, Then you coupled that with Smith's high draw and lower spin he's pretty hard to beat in this condition.
