Tips and details for dancing an Open Natural from Promenade into a syncopated High Chasse and a Natural Turn in the Slow Waltz.

" This Waltz combination features an Open Natural Turn from Promenade Position followed by a syncopated Chasse with an unusual rise into a Natural Turn. The unusual rise that is danced in this figure is peaking on the Three of the Chasse and then lowering on the Three And. And I'll count that out again for you again in a second. So the timing for this combination is: One Two Three, One Two Three, One Two Three, One Two And Three And, One Two Three. Typically after dancing an Open Natural Turn you might commonly expect to dance either a Running Finish or a Chasse Roll to the right so this is a nice surprise and offers a lot of movement and energy across the floor.
And now Talysa will demonstrate for us the lady's part solo. You can see from Talysa's dancing here that she has a very clear understanding of where she swaying to. You could say that in the Promenade she is swaying towards where she is moving to, and again here now in the Chasse swaying back where she's come from, and then swaying back to the inside of the turn to balance the end of the Natural Turn. And now I will demonstrate for you the solo steps for the man. Hopefully you can see also a clear sway change from left to right, from right to left and from left to right."
