For the longest time I had no idea that the TPIR sick day was such a common thing for folks about our age. When I was a kid it seemed like it was my thing and my thing alone. I had convinced Mom I was sick enough to stay home from school and after everyone left I'd have cereal, put on the TV (Regis and Kathy of course), build w/ Lego and the highlight of the day was TPIR at 11AM. Then grilled cheese and soup for lunch, The A-Team and Airwolf reruns in the afternoon then cartoons from like 2-5.

haha. I think we were just too cool to admit that's what we did. I'm with you. For a chunk of my childhood there were 2 Knight Riders, 2 Airwolfs and 2 A-Teams in a 6 hour block (with a bunch of long commercials for the new Universal Studios in Florida mixed in for good measure. That was the life.

Thats great, maybe I should model a 3d printable case? KiCad rocks, the Speeduino ECU pcb files is also done in KiCad and then it was a easy excersize to send it to PCBWay to get the boards done!! Awesome work Dan!!!

I've been tinkering with a few cases off thingiverse, but none of them are perfect. I think that would be cool. PCBWay is so great for getting that stuff done.

I've been wanting to get PCB way to make some boards, but I've got a lot to learn about kicad. They want a huge amount to design even simple boards from scratch.

I'm still learning kicad. If I ever feel like I've gotten the basics down enough, I would absolutely do a kicad pcb design for idiots (like me) video. Most of them have gone so far either over my head or into their own pcb design that they lose me.

Thanks for asking. I originally thought that I would put all of my coding tutorials over there. I still may put some longer classes on that channel... But for the most part I decided I'm only going to really try to build one channel.
