This should've been the ideal service pattern for the Queens Blvd Line, with G trains being extended to Forest Hills to fill in the gap for M trains. M trains were cut from Forest Hills to 57th Street in Manhattan. Obviously, as a former Queens Blvd rider myself, the R can't handle the local by itself but the MTA thinks otherwise. Why they didn't extend the G to help local riders is beyond my comprehension...
