Thanks a ton!! most detailed and smooth tutorial ever worked like a charm on my new rig.Only problem I bumped into was bluetooth.I have bcm94360cs2 chip docked into a pcie card and it worked oob and flawless in my clover build but in open core wifi and hands-off are there but bluetooth is missing.

That case looks cheap. Try out something like the Fractal Design Define R6, that's well built, not quite Lian Li or HP Z600 but still very well made

Hi all - I followed this video and it worked a treat. The resulting machine is a monster in both single core and especially multi core tasks. Not sure that the Thunderbolt is working though as i don't have a drive or device to test it with but I notice in System Profiler when I click on Thunderbolt in the list the right pane says Thunderbolt : No hardware was found. Does this mean it is not active or just that nothing is connected? (both the ports do supply power and mount USB devices when using a USB-C cable). Many thanks

Hi. In the first step to create the EFI folder, in OpenCore OC/Drivers folder, everything is different. There isn't FwRuntimeServices.efi. What should I keep in my folder ? There are : - AudioDxe.efi - CrScreenshotDxe.efi - HiiDatabase.efi - NvmExpressDxe.efi - OpenCanopy.efi - OpenRuntime.efi - OpenUsbKbDxe.efi - Ps2KeyboardDxe.efi - Ps2MouseDxe.efi - UsbMouseDxe.efi - XhciDxe.efi I suppose it's OpenRuntime.efi, that's right ?

Great tutorial. I have the same board (just using a i5 9600) and an rx580. Everything booted up just as it should except I am using a dual monitor. Only one of my monitors works with your configuration. Is there somewhere in the config file that I need to change to get dual monitors?

Hey @technolli great video, Everithing on my hackintosh works great, I just have one problem, when I try to open big files from an internal second hard drive like photo library (130gb) the hackintosh reboots itself. I have almost the same specifications as in your video, Core i9, Designare z390, fenvi etc, just the power supply is a Corsair CXM Series CX750M, don't know if that may be causing the reboot. Hope you could help me, this is driving me nuts!! thanks

Mine gets stuck after the black screen w apple logo and then goes to an error screen with 'macos installation couldn't be completed'. 9400f, b360i, vega 64, adata ssd... I have followed these guides fairly stringently so I'm unsure what I'm doing wrong. Noob tho.

I have the a similar setup, same mobo and i9 CPU but I'm running an RX 5700 XT but I'm not getting hardware acceleration. I'm testing this using VideoProc. Do you know how wide the cpu cooler has to be in order for the ram to fit. I am scared the cpu cooler will over lap into the ram slots and because of the rams height it won't work....

This was an interesting video! I wonder, though, as for the last year I've run Mojave & Catalina and used the Apple Thunderbolt 27" (still a lovely display some of us can admit) with an "Asus Prime Z370-A II" motherboard wired/patched from an RX570 out into an "Asus Thunderbolt EX 3" PCI card, which on the TB3 output has a TB3 to TB2 adapter where the display is connected (and works well). If this connection was possible straight away out from TB3 (via TB3 to TB2 adapter) on the Designare motherboard (used in this video) one more PCI slot would be free and also we will get one free TB3 port out from the Designare Motherboard - why not to be used for a very good TB Audio Interface or whatever else? Anyone know if this could be possible, without having the Einstein Hackintosh brain/not too complex settings/coding? Is it even possible or is Mac Pro 2019 the one and only way?

Hi @technolli, I have just built my first PC using a Z390 Designare motherboard and & i7 processor with a Radeon X570 graphics card. I followed the install instructions here but when I boot from the USB stick it stops on OCABC: Incomplete OpenRuntime r4, requires r11. Any help to get over this point much appreciated.

The script for SSDT-PLUG is broken, when I try it it give me 4 compiling errors on line 25 and 35. I tried without this file and failed, the boot end up with the platform is not good this osx. reason MAC+a number.

where do I find the kext and driver for this build? Is the kext and driver is the same file from open core for windows? I can't find the Hfsplus.efi from the drivers folder.

TechNolli - Thanks for the work. No problems getting this setup up and running. I started with 32GB of RAM (2x16GB) and decided to another 32GB (same manufacturer and model - Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 3200MHz). Fired it up and black screen. Shut down, removed the 2 new sticks of RAM and then got a BIOS recovery error. Made sure things were correct and boots fine with the original 32GB. Should this just work with no further tweaking? Worth starting to swap out the two new sticks into the old system? Thx.

If you plan on installing MacOS Catalina with the Fenvi 1200H/Fenvi T919 on the Z390 Designare, make sure to add the USBinjectAll.kext, otherwise Bluetooth (Handoff/Airdrop) will not work.

IF INSTALL doesnt work at first...dont redownload! Just change the date and time in your BIOS. I did mojave install so all my plugins i use will work! (ihope) so to get this damn mojave installer i used terminal to dl it.. did technolli's amazing easy process...in bios before installion from usb i changed the date and time which got rid of the "This copy of the Install macOS Mojave application is damaged and can’t be used to install macOS" error... best of luck

My Thunderbolt 3 doesn't seem to work totally right on Mohave. USB C drives work well but can't get it to work with Thunderbolt bridge for the QNAP NAS. Is like, if it works, it should work kinda thing or sometimes partial functionality works but not all? I'm a newb. Thanks in advance.

My G-Raid Thunderbolt 2 drives still don't work 😢. I wasn't able to get it working with my Clover mojave build and this one didn't work either. I have the thunderbolt 2 to 3 adapter from apple which works just fine on my macbook pro. Anyone get this build working with the G-raid thunderbolt 2 drives?

Sleep followed by Wake I have essentially the same system with 10.15.6 which is working very nicely, except (there is always an except, right). When it wakes from sleep it fails with a kernel panic (do have the text of that). I suspect that I should move some of the kext's over to /Library/Extensions. Appreciate any comments or pointers to links that would help solve this issue.

I've been running a skylake i5-6500 system for quite awhile now. But I decided I wanted more power either by going from GTX-710>RX 570 or getting an i3-9100 + cheap mobo. I've gotten the Rx 570 and I guess it helps a little in Photoshop but otherwise it's not very noticeable. I may return it and go the i3-9100 route but it may depend on getting an older Nvidia GTX 560 Ti working in Catalina. My research shows not likely, whats your experience with such a vid card?

I recommend that at the end of compiling your CONFIG.plist that you use the SANITY CHECKER located at the bottom of the Open Core page that you are working from. it will let you know if there is anything missing or incorrect in your CONFIG.plist file.

I managed to get opencore to work and installed Catalina on my Z390I Msi Gaming Edge. Everything works aside from wifi. Bluetooth is working though. I5 paired with rx 5700. It's in a small pc case too. Pretty stoked.

Any advice on getting hardware acceleration working? I have this same build and can't get hardware acceleration working to encode and decode video. Everything is going to CPU. No intel quicksync or AMD decoding on Plex or handbrake via videotoolbox.

How did you get this working using a rx 5700xt gpu? I have the same configuration and i get a black screen using this gpu.

Guys, I wonder if you can help me. I have recently loaded Mac os on a Lenovo y530 everything was working great until one day sound just stopped working.. I have tried everything including re-installing Mac OS. This build is using clover. I saw another RU-vid video telling me to look for the specific audio alc Kodak for the device. Unfortunately, I cannot locate this. If anyone knows what ALC number this Device is using, please let me know. My USB headset works perfectly. I had also test of the audio on Windows installation and no issues. I would really appreciate some assistance as I am a Voice over user and require audio to use the computer.

It works !!!!! What a great guide. The first one works with my configuration and i try so many. But everyone set the Bios settings very differently than you. Most of the time it run until the restart and then it was dead again. Thank you very much. I found there intermittent freezing and sometimes it just finally stopped responding so that I have to press the power button to shut off the Hack. Before using Radeon VII, it was Gigabyte RX570 and it worked very well following your guide, very smooth and never freeze. Is there anything I have missed, not done. OR Radeon VII need special tweaks? Thanks.

I built my first pc thanks to your video "Music Production Hackintosh Build" and I completed the installation with this guide: Catalina 10.15.5 is working (I just added to the original built without GPU a Sapphire rx 580 8 gb), nevertheless the Fenvi t919 doesn't work properly, Wi-Fi is slow and above all bluetooth is absolutely not recognised. Please, consider the idea to include a solution for this in your next videos. Many thanks for all!

Another awesome video bud! Man that 9900K with the Designare seems like a beast build, Kinda want to get that setup LOL. So did you build the USB on that machine or on one of yours? Does it matter what system it's built on when it's a vanilla USB being made? I ask because I thought in the beginning you said he was having trouble getting that system to run. Thank you for being so concise with your tutorial. I would have been lost. I have two problems: 1. the system doesn't show my correct graphics card. I have a Radeon Pro W5700 and displays as "Display 7mb" 2. None of the USB2 ports work. Sleep doesn't work - but that isn't too big a deal as I'm an editor and generally don't let my system go to sleep anyway. I haven't tested TB yet... Please help. But loving the build so far.
