I understand at this point in time you do not have the biggest audience, but your persistence to provide quality knowledge to us means so much to me. Thank you very much for doing these tutorials and for inspiring me! ❤️
Thanks so much for the tutorial! You explained everything super well. I was following the learnOpenGL tutorial and got stuck for a bit, but you helped me find the issue! 🍕
Great tutorials! I'm learning a lot. A question, what are you planing to cover graphically in this series (materials, decals, batching, light shafts, bloom, etc.)?
Thank you! I will cover everything that learnopengl.com covers since that's the structure the tutorials follow, and then some more stuff, though I am not sure what that stuff will be. Bloom and god rays might be part of those though! Time will tell ;)
Thank you! :) I already have a post processing tutorial. Though it does not include bloom. I might do one on bloom at one point probably, but it will probably be a while...
@Victor Gordan, Thank you for this wonderful video. However you failed to mention that it's impossible to apply MSAA to deferred rendering, because all the lighting calculations are done after the textures from MSAA have 'resolved', since we cannot use the Multisample framebuffers by definition.
Hey Victor, once again, I can't thank you enough for these informative videos. I wanted to ask if I should be reading in all my material textures using `glTexImage2DMultisample` (as opposed to `glTexImage2D`) if I want to enable multi-sampling across the board? Or is it sufficient if just the output frame buffer has multi-sampling enabled?
I am trying to build a web-version of a software called sweet home 3d, it allows interior designers to create 3d modeling of their designs and showcase them to potential customers, I am in need of guidance on where to begin and what do i need to know to proceed with the project, currently i know data structures and algorithms,c++,java, python,ReactJS, postgreSQL. please someone guide me on where should i begin to create the application that i want to.
Damn, I get asked this question quite a bit haha I will likely not do so though, since I'm not a fan of cookie-cutter game tutorials. But I will make devlogs! ;)
