im sure cr1tikal did an opening of these recently looking for the charizard and said he got big pulls, i didnt watch the video but ill be pissed if he got the charizard that fast when max has been grinding it for what? a couple years at this point?
He should just smoke the lower half with the image remaining, make an auction and im pretty sure it will sell for some way too high price, cause people will definitely pay for a base set charizard that has been half-smoked by maxmoefoe
SUPRISE! I am the funniest YTer evah!!!! Just kidding, it was no surprise. Everybody knew already. HAHAHHAHA!!!! That was an amazing joke (it was real talk though). WAWAWAWAWA!!!! Good afternoon, dear cuba

On the thick boy pack that ended at 13:36, Max profited Aud$215 from this pack alone-that is just profit (the 215 doesn’t include what he payed for the pack that was payed off by itself)
@@em_birch well that's a tough one. You could always buy random people's old collections off ebay, that'd be random cards and they don't often know what they have. Anything that's been processed is probably gonna be a loss.
@@CAMSLAYER13 Yeah. But I think Max was just trying to steer us away from specific companies who other 'Tubers are paid to hype and who make fake packs just for said channels. I get what you mean though about buying older cards.
I don't keep up to date on Max's videos so every once in a while I'll click a new one and each time I am completely baffled that he still is doing the breakfast gag.
i've been watching max's videos for YEARS and mostly watched the card openings for his reactions but... that 3rd cube... this is the first time i've genuinely wanted to buy cards... i just want to sit and stare at that espeon card for HOURS...
Max, you should do a card grading video. maybe choose some cards that you think could fetch a high score and send them in to get graded and make a video showcasing the results!
@@wheeler3339 Mushrooms are just another gahtdamned lie the government wants us to buy in to, man. We need more people on the internet like you. Spreading the truth.
The shadowless Pikachu at 6:55 is probably the CD promo version from the Pikachu Song Best Collection which was released in Japan along with the famous Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur CD promos. It's an English card printed on Japanese card stock. You'll notice the difference if you look closely.
I'm 21 years old, and honestly I dont know why but I keeping watching all these pokemon card unboxing vids, never fucking knew pokemon cards can be this fuking precious and expensive
Max I love your vids. Some TMI but, whenever I have stomach troubles (and its quite often) I usually watch your vids to get through the pain. Idk why, but it works. Thanks max
That was a fun watch. I was an adult when Pokemon came out and my local store let me run Japanese card tournaments for the older players. We used Scrye magazines for translations for the cards. I imported so many of vending machine promo cards so it was really fun seeing so many cards I played with in this video. OOC What is a Lilypad Mew JP language going for these days? I loved Mew and made sure to get all of it's promos and that one ran me 200.00 USD in 2001 lol. But again thanks for the nostalgia trip.
Hello Max Massive, I enjoyed your video and left a fat like. At one point you should do a update on your Pokémon cards and how you store them. Much love brother man
That Pikachu is the Shadowless English print included in the CD promo set. You can tell that it's different to the regular english shadowless base pika by two tests: 1) he is duller in colour, almost looks sun damaged in comparison to his English release counterpart. 2) As it's printed on Japanese card, it will be thinner and more flexible. You should be able to shine a phone torch light through. The spotlight on the other side will appear greenish in colour. Hope that's useful 👌🏻
