The more recent crates have way better unusual unboxing odds, it seems. Or people unbox multi class crates because those seem to be insanely lucky as well.

shouldve unboxed crate 82s, 10% chance for a 6 key item and another 10% for a 3 key item, actually have made enough to buy a (decent) unusual by unboxing haha. have unboxed 4 (and sold off like immediately) personally this way (cloud 9 soldier revolutionary war hat, forget wtf its called, dead presidents reaper hood for pyro (total shit), disco beatdown virus doctor and a cloud 9 belgian detective). and i think ive unboxed something like 500 crates total for no more than $100. the whole idea is that i constantly sell off whatever i make from unboxing to open more crates until i get an unusual.. and sometimes keep going because gambling fun lol. ive done like so much statistical analysis on it too with my sample and any other samples i could find on the internet to confirm drop rates but you can still get royally fucked in any case cause the price of keys in ref is just too much atm

@@AdmiralZoda wound up losing almost all of it unfortunately this time around. again i blame the really high price of keys and just some bad luck. i shouldve just stopped when i had already secured a sizable profit, but i got way too greedy. oh well, i'll try again in a couple months haha. i should have just bought those pumpkin moon head bouncers while i could!! i ran the numbers on other crates as well, nothing is comparable to 82 atm. good luck tho if you do decide to unbox em, 6 key bot quicksells are pretty good considering id sell mine for as low as 5 keys sometimes (which tipped the odds against me). wanted to make a vid on it but didn't want this info being public as it could definitely ruin the crate's tiny profitability margin immediately xd instead of buying 150 keys outright i would start with like 15-20, i built up to 70ish keys with just 20 before and now i'm back down to 20 lmao so the odds evened out there. really just wanted to unbox unusuals more than securing profits tbh, which was kinda dumb in hindsight. even in the worst case scenarios tho, its super resilient and will let you unbox way more than you could afford to unbox any other way, that much is a fact. though i realise that wouldnt make for a very good video haha since it takes doing tons of trades. u can just do it in bulk for vid
