The cast of Critical Role started doing signings last year so the pops went up cause they’re all vaulted so people could get them autographed, including me! I got the entire line autographed and they’re my prized possessions!!

Honestly, the drop in the Social Media Freddy is more because of just how many are floating out there. It was that price at the time because it was a new social media freddy.

Always knew this would happen with pops I was always told by collectors things made to be collectible are often not worth anything cause there mass produced and the market will eventually crash which is why I've never been an inbox collector what's the point when you know the market will crash eventually what would of been my most expensive pop 12+months ago was selling for 200-250 all day long I bought it this year in box for 15 which retail and first thing I did was destroy the box 😂

The issue with the Social Media Freddy is somehow certain companies have boxes of them to sell for like $45 instead of just being available through Funko as a giveaway prize.

No sure what its like in the US but in the UK there is loads of fakes of that pop around as well with tanked the price of them on the apps but the real ones (if you can prove its a real one) still are expensive

SM Freddy dropped because last years Fundays event sticker fail, when they had to swap out items, because they were exact same that in home boxes. Many got the SM Freddy as an extra in the swap, but 90% don't collect Freddies so sold them cheap to get rid off them.

When you got it the social media freddy would have been fairly new so the price was inflated. Nowadays all the hyped inflated prices are now around normal value based on actual demand

I know funko the company was (maybe still are?) in financial trouble. Also with the same song and dance Hollywood and other pop culture institutions have been pulling for years with their poor quality and hostility towards fans and lot of people are just done with it all.
