@@chasebiller5062 one of the packages in the box was resealed, so he could've got a really good card but the person who sold it took it and resealed it.
Same here! I love Pokémon, but I was never into digimon . But it was so fun to see him be excited, and the gamble of things was so exciting! (Until he got scammed by that one guy 🤬)
I'm not even that interested in Pokémon cards, but watching this stream live and seeing their joy made this stream like very entertaining Edit: had a heart from Kurtis, edited the comment to fix spelling errors, and as it seems when u edit comments it removes the heart. Gotta love youtube 👌
wrt the edit: i imagine it's to stop someone editing something into the comment the creator wouldn't agree with (e.g. something hurtful, slurs, etc) and making it look like they "liked" that comment.
Yeah I think this is the first time I've felt too old. Only a year younger than Kurtis but this box of Pokemon cards could pay for 3 of my years at University. I can't get behind the hype of pieces of paper even tho they were big parts of my childhood
@birds yeah i think most kids would be happy if they could collect pokemon cards in peace without collectors and scalpers raising the prices by ridiculous amounts lol
these pulls literally made my jaw drop in disbelief, would love to see you two open more packs in the future the luck you two had with this box is insaneee
Oh my gosh the pure joy when Kurtis pulled the Dark Charizard and when Jarvis pulled the Dark Raichu was so so good Also seeing the holo Dark Blastoise Jarvis got is making me realize my brother had a Japanese version when we were younger and that was the ONLY card he never let me have
the pure joy they show in just a simple thing like a card with some nice art and hollow background is so infectious..watching this made me smile and feel good for them to have received those cool cards....
Omg the moment I saw that oddish I jumped on eBay and bought one. He has a FROG and he’s a WEED Pokémon. I’ve never been so enamored with a card that I went out and bought it before, this is my first one!! Thank u for showing him
you two have gotten me so hooked on this! your happiness and passion about cards is SO contagious and despite knowing nothing about this before jarvis started opening cards on stream a while back i just immediately feel your excitement and am on the edge of my seat every video and stream especially since i dont know if the cards gonna be good until you guys yell
This was my favorite set back in the day. I remember where I live that each new set would come out in Japanese before English, at the mall, and my dad was always quick to get them asap. I had a bunch that I always wondered what they said lol. I think my favorite card was "Here comes team rocket".
I'm super psyched that you uploaded from the stream! It was my first stream of yours and the energy from both you and Jarvis was so fun and it was just an awesome night. d: Stayed until the very end when you raided the Stardew streamer. I think I watched hers for another 3-4 hours?
I remember when i was younger my brother had a lot of pokemon cards and i just remember always wanting one of them because it looked super cool and after about 5 years, i was able to steal it and i still have it.
Thank you for the wholesome content this morning while I get ready for work. This really took me back to when I was a kid. We used to gather around and open packs, trading was seriously like absolute chaos. Our school did eventually ban Pokemon cards because of that. Too many tears shed on the battlefield. Playing was rough at first because we played for cards and I never had any idea what was going on. I lost so many cards due to naivete it's not even funny. Anyways I would love to see ya'll play a little match sometime with the cards you drew after unboxing! That might be really fun!
I really feel some sort of way remembering all of the cards I had and how they just disappeared 😭 but I love the art on these cards so much, it's so nostalgic and gives me the warm fuzzies
I genuinely somewhat dislike card opening videos/streams, but seeing the sheer genuine joy in their when unveiling these cats was great, you can tell that to them it's not so much about how much the card is worth, but how sick it is to have gotten one
