Well, I'm fond of Malifaux, and I can help you on these. First of all, all the Malifaux stuff you get is from first edition, ou second edition (M2E). Wyrd Games released the Third Edition (M3E) of the game last year, which is the version being played around the world at the moment, but almost all the minis from first ed and M2E can be used in M3E (and from what I have seen, you don't have any of the minis which haven't mad ethe jump from First ed and M2E to M3E... So... 2:22 As you have seen, the War Rabbit is an alt version of the War Pig. It can't be played on its own, it's meant as an add-on to a Gremlin crew (Bayou Faction). The ideal one would be Somer Teeth Jones' crew (each crew must have a leader, either a master or a henchman). You should keep this one preciously for another reason : Wyrd Games still have to release a little game called "Bayou Bash". It's a game about Gremlins performing a race in the Bayou, mounted on several animals ( giant rabbit, pig or rooster...), and this very mini can be used for the game. All alt-versions are sold in wrap-plastic, no card-box. 3:05 Hired Swords. This is a full-crew, which you can play right away. It is one of the most played crews in M2E, and also one of the deadliest. The Master is Viktoria (Outcasts Faction), a young lady wielding a katana. She is assisted by her twin, who is in fact a "tamed" doppleganger. Mainly hand-to-hand combat. The average game in Malifaux is 35 soulstones (generation points) and this one is around 33. So you have all you need to start Mailfaux with this one. 3:08 Of Metal and Flesh. Another full-crew with no need for reinforcements for your first games. Thi sone is based on C.Hoffmann, who controls Steam-robots for the Guild Faction (but he can be played with the Aracanists faction...). He is a buffer or steam-robots and can be a real hard-hitter (I love this this crew. I have the metal edition for the first ed). 3:17 Take Back the Night. And another full crew. This time, Resurrectionnists (undead and necromancers). The Master is Molly Squidpidge, a young journalist killed and resurrected. She deals with ghosts, spirits and undead. I have never played this crew, so I can't really tell you more about it. 3:30 Mindless Zombies. Reinforcements. Can only be played "in extra" by resurrectionists. I'm not sure Molly can make much of them, but they are cool minis which can be used as undead even in other games. 3:37 Yamaziko. Ten Thunders Faction. She is reinforcement, but, as an Henchman, she can be played as leader of a crew. Very lethal... 8:23 Abuela Ortega. Reinforcement for the Guild Faction. She can be played with Hoffmann (see above), but I don't really see the point. She fits better with the Perdita Ortega crew (she is the old granny!!!) (I've painted this model twice. Once for my Perdita Ortega crew, and once for a friend. I love the crew and the character!!!) 12:38 Ten Thunder Archers. Reinforcements. As the name suggests, they're from the Ten Thunders Faction. They can (and maybe should) be played with Yamaziko (see above). Cool looking minis!!! 13:12 Seamus. A Master from the Resurrectionnists Faction. Can be played with Molly (see above). Actually, in the lore, he's the guy who killed and resurrected Molly. He's a psychopath who kills and resurrescts prostitutes... The character's a mixture from Alice in Wonderland's Mad Hatter and Jack the Ripper... Best used on his own crew, but should come as solid reinforcement for Molly. 13:24 Katanaka Sniper. Ten Thunders Faction, can be played with Yamaziko. Usually prefered in builds over the Ten Thunder archers. 13:35 Johanna. Alt version of Johan. Heavy hitter for the Outcast Faction. Can (and should) be played with the Hired Swords crew (see above). Brilliant model in terms both of mini AND play... 13:54 Bayou Gremlin. A gremlin from the Bayou Faction. Can be played with the War Rabbit, but they won't make a crew altogether. Gremlins are fun, nice to play and have an hilarious lore... 15:07 Field Reporters. Guild Faction. Can be played with the Of Metal and Flesh ccrew (see above), although this should be circumstancial. And yes, in Malifaux, you play plain and simple journalists. And I can tell you they can be a real pain in the neck, when you have to face them... They are not "offensive" characters, but they prevent damages against their more aggressive team mates, and can prevent you from playing a mini which is in their area of influence... 15:25 Thes models are not Malifaux at all. I'd say the cow-boys look like copplestone or NorthStar Miniatures and would fit perfectly in some Dracula's America posse (another one of my favorite games...) 15:55..... Not Malifaux... But Sergeant Centurius... WOW!!!!!!!!!!! 16:05 These are Malifaux, yes... Sort of... They are actually sprues which enable you to assemble characters for Through the Breach, which is the MAlifaux Role-Playing Game... These are much sought after, since they allow you to convert or scratch build a lot of characters for Malifaux or the Malifaux RpG... Well, if you plan on playing Malifaux third Edition, you have some perfect base here. The easiest crew to start with would be the Hired Swords, and Hoffman (Of Flesh and Metal) wouldn't be far behind... You're really lucky to have such fans who send you these!!! Best Regards!!!

The legion of the damned models are super cool, they are good guys, they show up on the battlefield to help imperial forces, then teleport away when the fight is done.

Legion of the Damned aren't chaos. They're angry loyalist space ghosts.

Legion of the Damned are loyalists who appear when a battle is at its darkest hour and the Astartes will no doubt lose, they are seen as saviours. The fact that you got Centurius is AWESOME he is soooo rare!

The first mordheim mini you pulled out (the cloaked elf) is Aenur, Sword of Twilight. He came free with an issue of White Dwarf back in 1999 when Mordheim was first released.

Regarding the Malifaux stuff: the big sprue is a kit for the Malifaux RPG "Through the Beach". Everything in plastic bags is a promo that can only be purchased during the Easter/Black Friday sale from Wyrd (super cool!). The bayou gremlin is the likely the rarest thing, because I'm not sure if you can buy it directly from Wyrd. The blisters with metal minis are from 1st or 1.5 editions. From the end of 1.5 until 2nd edition some plastic minis were sold individually, like blisters. The big boxes are "crew boxes" which are enough for a 35 point games (generally). (50 points are the tournament standard)

You're lucky to get all of that, hope we'll see them get painted!

Sgt Centurius LOTD was released as a limited edition model to commemorate the 100th GW store in the UK... Pretty rare dude. I was after one for years, but people started selling him at stupid prices.

Makes me cry every time he calls the Legion of the Damned (Damned Legionaries) Chaos. I have (had after they got Legend) an army of them which I’m now converting to my own SM chapter and finding those old metal ones is a bit of a nightmare haha. Good pulls!

Just as an advice, you could make live videos where you unpack all this stuff, and so people can tell you what they are, and how rare they are. It would made for great content :)

Malifaux is skirmish based, sorta like Kill Team but a bit bigger. It's a really great game, you don't play it with dice, instead you play with poker cards and it has a lot of depth. Right now it is in third edition and what you got is a lot of older and rarer stuff, good things, I know a lot of people that would some of those models! xD You should give it a try if you like skirmish based games, it's a bit different then all the other games around, really cool and balanced gameplay with awesome models and cards instead of dice gives such a cool layer of gameplay, I can really recommend it to you :)

That awesome Mordheim elf with a blade and a cloak was given in the White Dwarf issue when Mordheim was launched.

ZOMG Sargent Centurious from LOTD the ultra limited edition only charecter model they ever made. I would KEEEEEL to have that in my collection!

18:00 Aenur, Sword of Twilight. It was from the october 1999 White Dwarf 238. First White Dwarf I got myself as birthday present. Before reading it I had just played HeroQuest and Space Crusade. I then started painting the Space Crusade marines with some gloss car model paints. Oh dear. Luckily I kept Aenur untarnished until I had gained some skillz. Well that was intro for my hobby. :D

Very nice figures there, brings bac many happy memories. The Legion of the Damned are a favourite of mine, still got all mine, all boxed up ready for painting, could be sooner than later if this self isolation keeps going. Stay safe everyone. 😄

Interesting thing about the Chaos Familiars is that they are the oldest models sold by Games Workshop. They were first released in 1985 iirc and you can still buy them today.

The rarest/most coveted of those GW miniatures surely must be Sergeant Centurius. He was available for one weekend back in 1996(ish) for the Apocalypse 100 event, to celebrate GW opening their 100th store (they are now over 500). They even had a 25% off sale (yes, Games Workshop once actually had a sale!!! I got a metal landspeeder!). The 1st proper Games Day mini came the next year. Stuff Of Legends is great for looking up this sort of stuff. Also, the Kroot Shaper is Games Day 2001, and was called Ankhor Prok (got two, love him).

The Reaper witch is rare because it was only given out for ReaperCon a few years back, and has never been on their web site (nor has it been cast in Bones plastic). I picked one up a few months ago, and wasn't able to find any extra info on it, so I assume it's pretty rare for them.

First unknown sprue is Pike and Shotte from warlord games. Dunno which box, but those little rods in the corners are for stacking them in the box so the sprues don't grind eachother to dust

The high elves spruce is from the Island of Blood box set, was High Elves and Skaven if I remember correctly. I loved the sea guard so much that I spent a ridiculous about of money buying all the ten man squad from that boxset on ebay. Ended up with like 60 x sea guard. Also in the same boxset was a Prince on a griffon, some swordmasters (excellent unit) and riever scouts on horseback. unfortnately the high elves don't even exist in the game anymore :((((. Still have my minis though. Might dig them out and get them painted up. Thanks for reminding me that I owned them. Great video Squid, keep the coming. stay safe!!!

Crunch would kill for the Legion of the Damned (Damned Legionaires) and Sgt Centurius. He loves their aesthetic. Nice haul.

'Valten from Bretonnia' WHAT

Valten was (supposed to be) the avatar or reincarnation of Sigmar (lore wise anyways, he got calle dthat in the empire), during the Storm Of Chaos event. This one was the older Valten who had all the gifts from the allied races (including the horse, the armor and most of all, Ghal Maraz, Sigmars own Hammer that normally only the emperor was allowed to carry). Its pretty rare now i think, especially after GW decided to retcon the end of the Storm of Chaos and decided to leave that as an alternate timeline and continue on with the one that lead to Age of Sigmar.

I don't have easy access to Warhammer minis here in Brazil. During a travel to Ireland my first ever GW figure was a Wight King. Still my favorite model so far

Malifaux is a magnificent game, go play it, Emil! It is character based, so you can mix and match as many miniatures as you want, basically, as long as they are from the same faction, or affiliated with each other (says on the card of the characters). You can mix in different factions, but they cost more points to deploy. You have NO DICE, you draw from a poker deck to fight, and use cards on your hand to modify the draws. Love it so much!

I could be wrong, but I think the High Elf sprues are from the Island of Blood Warhammer Fantasy box; I saw several Sword Masters of Hoeth on there and they were in huge demand because of how broken they were to play and the Lord on Gryphon looks like the one that came with that boxed set. Valten was a character during the summer Fantasy campaign where Archaon was introduced; initially he was announced as being Sigmar reincarnated, but that was eventually changed to the Herald of Sigmar. The Reaper Warlord miniature isn't particularly rare (at least to my knowledge) but the Trick or Treat mini is; Reaper usually releases different holiday themed miniatures somewhat sporadically, except for Christmas which has themed minis each year. I have a more recent Halloween one called the Halloween Knight, which is a sort of take on the Headless Horseman; a knight in full plate with a coffin lid shaped shield and a Jack 'O Lantern for a head. The mystery bag: - I believe the female caster/wizard is Bretonnian, but I can't remember the official name. I keep wanting to say the Lady of the Lake but I'm not sure if that's right. - The little familiar guy looks like he's from a pack of Chaos Familiars they used to sell for fantasy. I don't know if they had any special rules or if they were just fun little models to field with your casters. - I *think* the female Tomb King mini is Neferata.

The AoS Ogre/Beastclaw Raiders Thundertusk kit has some nice tusks as well that could possibly work on the mammoth.

Malifaux is a cool game, lots of great models, and some naff ones too. The hired swords box is a previous edition i think, not rare but not in production any more. Some models in there that I want to paint up!

sgt centurius you lucky boy. It's the only model I have ever truly regretted parting with after I sold all my original hobby gear in my 20's. Such a badass mini, and you have a whole squad for him to lead. Truly the emperor protects.

thats a serious haul, many rare figures in there, even in the loose pile (the kroot and bloackorc with axes are games day models), but the jewel is the sgt centurius who was released as a 100th store special in the 90s. i dont know if they rereleased him but he was the rarest marine for ages. that one made my jaw drop, as i wanted him since i was a teenageer (deepending on your age he might be older than you).

I don't know how rare the Malifaux stuff really is. The War Wabbit can probably be ordered every easter, same as the models in plastic bags with a 2e card included. Those are alternate sculpts of other models. They are usually available three times a year (I think) from their website during Gen Con, Easter and Black Friday. Maybe during X-mas too. The sprue is from their "Through the Breach" line. There were two made: Male Multi-Part Kit and Female Multi-Part Kit. I don't think they print those anymore. Otherwise the crews and "add on" miniatures aren't rare, but when kits run out it can be quite a while before new are printed. Also, most 3e cards can be downloaded and printed to get the 2e stuff playable in 3e, or just use the official app. Umeå actually has a pretty good player base with two of Swedens best players.

Legion of the Damned is part of the Loyalist faction that appears from the Warp to assist other Loyalist factions in their time of need. They used to be listed in the Space Marine codex until 8th edition, they currently reside under the Legends heading with the last update being 4/12/19. (Though I will note the current listing is missing both the named Sergeant that you got and the Dreadnaught they used to be able to take.) It is a line that never made the transition from metal to plastic (though I believe they made a run or two in Finecast, though not 100% sure on that.)

You can have the tusks etc reproduced btw. Not by forgeworld. I bought my mammoth from an italian seller. I mistook it for being a second hand model, but turns out he had molds made in china and have the 'entire' model reproduced. Lot of clean up still needed but it was fairly good for 300 bucks. Wish i could buy the original back in the day though, but seeing as i was a 90's kid, i didnt really posses the means to get one back then :p Now that i do, its no longer made. A damn shame, it really is their best model in my opinion.

Was my hobby 20 years ago (i'm 42) and still have old Eldars metals miniatures like the Avatar of Khaine, old Jain'Zar, old Scorpions, Reapers :D And I've just bought for ~500€ new stuff last day haha

To help with some identification the 2 big malifaux sprews are for the Through the Breach rpg that Wyrd produced, they're the male and female body kits which allow you to build your character for roleplaying, though people use 'em to proxy models, especially now with the shift to 3rd edition and some crews not having certain models

Yes the metal Lilth hesperax is a dark eldar/ Drukhari, she just have not the same equipment and pose, i remember of having to fight her back in the days, she was horibble . 20:02 haha, i have her to, it was a pain to find her, still didn't painted her yet.

If ou still need tusks you could try the ones from the Forge world Mumak war leader, keep the resin parts and just sell the plastic mumak on.

Hired swords box is a crew box. If you were to put it together you would have enough models for a 30 stone game. Of Metal and Flesh is a crew box and it gives you 21 soul stones worth of models. Take back the night is a crew box, it has 20 stones worth of models, mindless zombies can be played with that crew. Abuela Ortega goes with a crew that you didn't get in the box, I think that might be the first edition model for that character. The Mad Hatter is a master in Malifaux, but you dont have his crew so you also don't have any of the stuff that goes with him. Johanna might be an alternate promo sculpt for something, i do not recognize the character. Katanaka Sniper goes with the Last blossom Crew, that is not the current plastic sprue. Field reporters are for a crew that isn't the box you got, it goes with the Nellie Core box. Yamiziko is a henchmen model for the last blossom crew, The Ten Thunders are a minion option for the last blossom crew. The 2 random sprues at 16:05 look like the NPC sprues for Though the Breach. It doesn't look like you have enough of a particular keyword to actually run a 50 soul stone crew in Malifaux, but the core boxes should be able to play like a 30 soulstone game. Cannot speak to the rarity of the metal models for the Malifuax setting games, but Wyrd is pretty much all plastic these days. Some limited edition models are metal.

The privateer press model is Valeria Alvaro, Ordic Pistoleer. Old IKRG model, not rare persae, but old. Its from before Warmachine so early 2000's.

Im pretty sure the Tomb Queen is called High Queen Khalida or something along those lines :)

I realize I'm watching this like half a month late, but I had such a big grin when the Griphon of that Sea Guard showed up. I'm working on that for a diorama that I'm sure you'll love.

An awesome Box with Miniatures. Walter was an Imperial Hero ;) The "Kroot Sniper" Is a Games Day Miniature, the "Black Orc" also I guess. I also got several Boxes like this from my Carrier in the Hobby since 1990. But I will hold these Boxes up to my End. But if it comes to this, I hopefully will find someone like you who will have so much respect for these Miniatures :)

Malifaux by Wyrd Minatures is an amazing game that while is fairly established i think deserves more exposure and credit that many people give it. Its mechanics are really unique as its all based around a deck of playing cards rather than rolling dice. You have a mix of different factions and some older models in the box. The metal models are old Mk1. The plastic boxes are Mk2. Mk3 was launched about 8 months to a year ago and many of the models have been re-boxed. But you should really check it out and give it a real good go.

Legion of the Damned is a loyalist chapter, they got lost in the warp, and pop up at intervals to cause mayhem - they're a bit zombie like (Blood Angels are vampires, Space Wolves are a bit Werewolf, etc.)
