Opening a Lord of the Rings TCG Fellowship of the Ring Booster Box From 22 Years Ago

I crack open, for the first timer ever, a booster box from The Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game. This is the one released by Decipher made back in 2001 to correspond with Fellowship of the Ring's theatrical release. I pull some awesome foils in this one and try to talk about the basics of the game from my limited knowledge at this point. More to come from LOTR TCG, as this was a blast to open!

Two Towers, but I had a starter deck from Return of the King for this game. Never saw it in stores again after that so seeing these is really cool

That was a fun watch! I didnt mind the price checking at all adds to the excitement in my opinion. Looking forward to more LOTR in the future.

Very fun to watch! i had to go through my old binder from when i was 9-10 years old, had a mix of the first 7 sets, only 3 foils though, and some cards were in rough shape...

The P on Aragorn means that that's the one in the Fellowship starter deck. There is also a P Gandalf.

Looking to start collecting this,was looking at mines of Moria boxes but they are polish(roughly 1/3 the price) I’m thinking English is better for me though since if I wanna play one day. Also should start with the first.

Yeah I’ve never been a fan of cards of any type using film stills myself. They give me that “kids sticker book” vibe if that makes sense :’) The game itself looks interesting though, and as you mentioned I like that they put the effort in to the card names and flavour text. And the frames look great. Very neat. Great job on the pull! :D
