I work as a nail tech in a salon right now. Even though the market in my area is saturated, I'm trying to open my own salon too! Thank you so much for this. I hope you continue to prosper and grow, def rooting for your success!!
This video is a lifesaver for anyone looking to open a nail salon! The detailed insights on inspections, taxes, and choosing salon supplies are invaluable. Thanks for covering all the essentials and making it easier to navigate the startup process. Can't wait to put this knowledge into action! 💅💼🌟
hi there! this is the most useful video i've seen on how to open a nail salon. Your attention to detail is incredible! thank you for collecting you hard work and presenting it in such a easy way to understand for people such as me who are interested in the industry.
This is extremely helpful!!! Thank you so much! I’m opening up my own suite soon and eventually a salon and I’m starting my research early this was sooooo helpful thank you!! Much love, luck and prosperity to you and your business!!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that, and congratulations!!!!!!! 🥰 I originally wanted a suite SO badly lol I’m so happy for you. Wishing you all the success and wealth on your journey!! ♥️💖💖💖
Really helpful! Just like you, I'm a beginner starting my own nail salon. This video's been a huge boost and super inspiring - thanks a bunch! Running a nail salon is seriously a big expense for me! But then I found a color gel called INFINITE GEL POLISH. It's a lifesaver for saving on gel polish costs, maybe this will help you guys too.
This was not only very/extremely helpful to me, but this was so relatable. I am converting my garage into my salon and literally have my must haves written down like you. And I find myself dragging my feet sometimes as well. My sister just bought me my tile and paint, so this Saturday that I what I will be doing. I'm so excited, but really can't wait for me to reach the finish line, while another part of me is saying "enjoy the process"
Congratulations!!! I love that you can convert your garage into a salon space!!! That's amazing, and yessss sister! Having that support is a beautiful thing. Definitely enjoy the process, but don't hold yourself back either 😉
I enjoyed watching your video and found it informational. Just completed nail Tech school and went to a Beauty Trade show to get an idea of what equipment costs. Looking forward to more videos of yours. Much success to you.
This is so inspiring to see as a new Esthi in this area of P.A. I love to see this kind of information be given. Great to see a black owned salon and it be in my area.
@@danielleleslie6944 Thank you, I’m definitely manifesting it! Try Queen Beauty Institute. I went there when it was still Queen Beauty Academy lol They’ve since expanded, but they’re not as expensive as the other beauty schools, that only offer cosmetology.
@@KlawzByEsahin Philly? I’ll have to check into. I would love to avoid driving from west Chester to Philly daily if possible. Yeah most places only offer cosmetology. I’ll look into it. I’m trying not to have to quit my day job and do night school but it seems none of the schools do part time at night. So if I have to quit work I need to do some major planning cuz the bills still gotta be paid 🤦🏾♀️
@@danielleleslie6944 Unfortunately, it is in philly. But I think they offer part time, and the theory portion online. But it's also all the way up roosevelt blvd, so that may not even be worth it for you. And no, the bills don't stop lol We have to keep the coin coming in.
I use Square for POS and appointments. It's completely free, except when you take card payments. They take a fee before they deposit your earnings, but it's great. I love it and my clients haven't had any issues.
Hi, I’m currently enrolled in a nail tech program. I live in PA also, about 20mins from King of Prussia. I would love to open my own salon one day. May I ask if it would be wise to apply for my LLC before I start purchasing supplies etc so I can fund it through my business, keeping track of my expenses early on…
Hey! I wouldn't be able to tell you exactly what to do. A cpa and/or tax professional would have to tell you the best option given your finances and where you are in your business. In my case, I didn't get an LLC until I knew I was 100% starting my business, but then I also know people who have several LLC's. So...I wish I could give you a firm yes or no, but it's really up to you. Even if you don't get the LLC, definitely start tracking your expenses anyway. It'll be good practice & extremely helpful in the future. Sidebar: your beauty school tuition would count as an expense as well, so I hope that's helpful lol
@@KlawzByEsah Yeah, I figured it out. lol I was watching the part where you were driving and I though wow, that looks like jersey,,, I lived there many years ago, also in the poconos...
