Just so you know. Laura Pausini won a grammy, 4 latin grammies, 1 golden globe and received an Oscar nomination last year. Laura fills stadiums not only in Italy, but throughout Europe and especially in Latin America where millions of people follow and love her. Laura has also duetted and collaborated with the greatest artists, such as Michael Buble, Marc Anthony, Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Kylie Minogue, Alejandro Sanz, Michael Jackson, Madonna, James Blunt, Ricky Martin. She was a coach at The Voice and X Factor in Spain, Mexico and "La Banda" in the US. So she was not born yesterday :)

Quite strange considering that italian artists in Sweden were hardly successful in the last 60 years, with very few exceptions. Even during the golden days of italian music, when it was popular in many countries, scandinavian countries were absent from the list of admirers. Finland was the exception, a country that covered hundreds of italian songs in finnish. :)

Great opening, loved nearly all the acts this year, mika in the interval was amazing, it was so great seeing my own country finally end it’s years long run of Eurovision failure with Sam Ryders amazing performance and finishing in 2nd, 🇬🇧🥈and of course it was touching to see Europe and Australia really come together as one to support and show solidarity with Ukraine, a well deserved winner. 🇺🇦🥇
