This video shows how to open and close an RV awning made by A&E Dometic. Yes the camera work isn’t the greatest but my 5 year old daughter was the camera girl so cut her some slack! 👍
I think you did a very good job of a step by step process of using the rv awning. I''m a 64 year old woman and I hope I can do it all by myself. Thanks.
We just got an RV and today was our first day using the awning. The wind start picking up and we realized we didn't know how to get it back down quickly and correctly. We did it and then decided we better look it up to make sure it was locked in place. Thanks for the informative tutorial - next time we'll look like we know what we are doing!
Not a Scorcese film, but it got to the point. Huge thanks, this is just what I needed to figure out the awning on my new to me trailer. Thanks for taking the time to share this!
Thank you, we just bought a new to us travel trailer and weren't sure how to operate the awning, now all we need is a new awning fabric and we're good to go!
Great how to video, thanks! Bought an older camper and couldn't figure it out for the life of me. I was stuck on the "grab the handle and lift up to release" part until I saw that in your video 👍
THANK YOU! We bought a 5th wheel from friends years ago and we just now decided to clean it up and check it out. It has this awning on it. It happened to be missing some vital parts and we never would have known if not for this video :)
Thank you for making this video ! I had not used mine in over a decade and just replaced the fabric and forgot how to operate it. 😂 You bailed me out. Thank you 😊
Thank you very much for recording this (wish the camera guy got a little closer when u were doing certain things, but it is what it is). We drop our leg down at the rear end of the rig; rachet strapped to the ground for high winds. While keeping the front one attached to rig & secured as well. We're in a wind tunnel. But THANK YOU! You saved lives and ALOT of arguments between spouses. 😂
Oh my gosh, THANK YOU for this!!! I was out in the 100-degree sun today for an hour fighting with the awning of my new-to-me Winnebago. Thank you to you and your daughter for the help!
Thanks for the video... just bought a used Hybrid with this awning. Now I know how to operate it thanks to your video. I was just about to call NASA and ask them for help....
Thank you for recording this video. It is so helpful! (I couldn't find that long rod in my recently acquired 1988 Toyota Motorhome. So I stood on a chair to do the operation that is normally done with that rod.)
Got it! Thanks! I have to replace the release lever on our new purchase because somebody used the lever to lift the awning, it's just pot metal and it broke. I plan to push it up by using the bar itself, not the lever. BTW, your camera girl did a great job!
Great little video. We just got a White Water Retro, and struggled to get the canopy up and tight. Thanks for the lesson. If you do any more videos, please ask your camera operator (wife?) to keep the camera on the action, slightly wider lens, and don't jiggle the camera around so, and keep her (?) hands from in front of the lens. Many Thanks from Arden, NC.
THANK YOU! YOU DO AN AWESOME JOB AT MAKING IT LOOK SO EASY ,,, BUT I SHOULDNT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS NOW,. ,,,cuz I'll be stopping and starting your video as I'm doing each step,,, maybe a few rewinds if I get stuck THANKS AGAIN!
Great Job Brandon!!! I need the model number/serial number, I have the same A-E awning but cannot find replacement adjustable arm after a wind storm. Thank you!! Tim
Thanks That awning is just like mine I have a rod (inner one) out of the track that it is supposed to slide in. Any suggestions to get it back in the track?
Hi! Thanks for making this video, however, I'm in an area with a veey weak cell/internet signal. So, I can't really watch this video because it keeps buffering and timing out on me!! And, me and my dogs are roasting because I'm not sure exactly how to open and close my a&e domeyic awning. I sure wish you would have included the steps in the description part of this video - given my current situation, it would have really helped us out!!
Thanks for the informative video. this helped us but whoever did the filming needs to learn to hold the camera steady and point to what your explaining about. watching the video about gave me a headache from all the moving and shaking.
