Hemp, Kelly and haaland is what I've used since the start of fifa using the crossing method. Super effective, haalands playstyle has him doing all sorts of scorpion kicks 😂

As someone who's actually scoring a lot of goals after crosses, here are the things I would advise you: - You'll need a big guy at the striker position. No Aerial-Playstyle will deny the six inch advantage the defender starts with. - The jumping attribute seems to be the area where ea was a little bit more generous towards the striker than towards the defender. This is the point where you can beat the defence. Someone like Morata, Lukaku and Gomez have the same height like most CBs but with the right chem-Style, they can out-Jump them - It help's you big time to have one big Winger (llorente is perfect for example). This way you'll have someone at second post challenging the Fullbacks to aerial duells. This is especially effective since there are a lot of fullbacks who aren't that good in this category.

I feel like you'll learn the best crossing techniques which don't require the best crossers by playing career mode where you're a very untalented squad versus very good ones that press. You leave those wingers outside to maintain shape, use transition, and understand when to do early vs regular vs driven vs ground cross.

I was going to suggest you use gameplay to illustrate how to use specific playstyles and maybe make it a regular section.

I'm using Mario Gomez up top in a 4-3-2-1 setup he has scored so many headers for me. What you need to look out for is catching opposition in transition and innitiate counter. Instead of leaving your ST with opponent CB 1v1, you need to cross it behind the CB, AI doesn't react as quick as STs in this game, so you always get into heading position before CB and score uncontested header from it. In terms of crossing i find early whipped crosses are the best, it closer to the 'trivela area' rather than byline. If you drive the ball to the line however, I would recommend just cutting it, crosses from there goes to edge of the box more than the ST. (Unless you have a taller stronger player from midfield getting into box late)

First few weeks of the game i was using Kelly, Kemp and Crouch and it was genuinely hilarious. Virgil may get the sticky in the tackles but even he couldnt stop Crouch with 2 whipped pass + coming in at him lmao. Probably the most fun ive had with a team so far tbh just because of Crouch himself

I have scored so many headers with Osimhen, you need to set the strikers to get in behind and trigger them with L1, and cross before you get to the 18 yard box. Crossing from 30 yards out to the back post is OP, 24:16 was the perfect chance for it

Hey nep, just a heads up, when listing bronzes etc don’t list up for 10k. I’ve seen a lot of accounts getting banned due to people buying their cards for 10k. List at 9.9k instead

Try Bacha she’s a beast at whips, and so is karchaoui, I like karchaoui on the right and Bacha on the left, they are fast and aggressive on the outside

Nep, you need to use Chloe Kelly one wing, and Lauren Hemp on the other with catalysts. In the centre use Kerr and Katoto with Hawks (424 or 4222) and every cross, especially when you player lock, is guaranteed goal. The whipped pass plus is so good and really fun to use.

Nep, I think you should set instructions on your strikers to 'Stay Forward' and 'Get in Behind' so they always make runs and be in the box, ready for a cross.

Crossing works so well in pro clubs if you have a massive striker in your team

Hey Nep, I always find my issue with whipped passes is that it goes to the opposite winger quite often, I use Kerr's Nike card as I packed it untradable day 1 but I find her height is still an issue even with Power Header+ and Aerial. Also Baltimore is left footed with 2* weak foot so that might be why her crosses weren't great other than the militao one.

Hi nep, in the very early stages of the game i had hemp and kelly with whipped pass plus and it works so much more effectively with plus rather than just a standard playstyle

I feel like scoring from crosses is not the problem, I feel like the problem is that no matter the level of assist on crosses they always go into the wrong person/area. Maybe experimenting with precision crosses could solve that, but that is high skill level thing. The biggest issue is tho that for low skill level player a simple cross into a tall striker in right position should work, but rarely does because balls always seem to go either to the far post or close post and hardly ever to the centre

How you played this game is how I've been playing a good part of this year, Havertz and Haaland up top with Molina (RB) whipping in those crosses is the most fun way to play for me

I won’t lie I don’t score many from crosses, but do cross sometimes to keep the opponent guessing. Think Baltimore is 2* we and left footed too

i scored most of my goals like this in previous fifas but this year is different and the crosses aren’t as consistent. there’s proof in this video where as in previous fifas it’d more often than not reach the intended target. it’s probably the new mechanics in the game this year which makes it different and so i’m still getting used to it.

Just noticed in your defending, you have 2nd man switch player icon on... is this better in order to defend better. Plus the best time to cross seems to be when they point for it... seems to connect more accurately

This year is is much more easy to score headers. You don't even need players with whipped pass, but it's better of course if you have one (I use Camavinga as LB, and he often gets into chance to cross ball from transition). Lewandowski is one of the best strikers for this kind of playstyle. And of course it's lot harder to score when you just focus on crossing. You could have played normally, and in build up play, instead of sending through ball in the middle, you send a pass outside and hit a cross from first touch. Just play football, no need to think about mechanics, glitches, etc...

I’ve already been seeing how the aerial play style is OP as I have cordoba and he wins so many headers from corners and he’s 5”8

I use shearer up front and crossing to him in the box is a goal nearly every time. Very good mechanic and provides variation in play. Best using players with the whipped pass plus playstyle such as Lauren hemp and Chloe Kelly for accurate crosses

Maybe you should try some different settings too, Semi assisted vs Assisted. Remember a few years ago one was a lot more efficient than the other in producing good crosses where you want it

I have Bacha and llorente outside with the cross perk, and dembele with Iago aspas on the wings... one with 5*5* trickster, the other with finesse+. Govou up front and I have every style covered... If my opponent knows how to defend one thing i go for the next. Unbeatable (if i was good at fifa)

Hey nep, im doing the exact same as you except i have 442 with alex morgan (finese shot option) with sam kerr heading option. Rodman and reiten on wings with llorente and bacha Wing backs allows for multiple different options in attack.

WRT Crossing, this is flawed by the Attacking AI which, IMO, is the biggest issue in the game. Players stop running. Then get into space and then stop the run even when the crosser is in front. It drives me crazy. I have Iago AssPass and El Matador. Perfection. In. Theory. Hopefully the patch sorts out the attacking AI and you can start to play balls into spaces where they will actually run into. Right now the runs start but never finish. This is 100% what was causing your issues.

352 gives you great options for wing play/crosses. Always have 3 players trying to get into the box (st’s&cam) then always have two wide players with your lm/rm

Fantastic video, the gameplay and post-game analysis becomes really interesting with the game mechanic theme. Focusing on the process rather than the results also seems to be something that makes you enjoy the game :)

You can’t say that people say crossing isn’t affective because people don’t know the timing of the cross and win by 1 goal 3rd goal doesn’t count as it wasn’t a cross when you played an average player at best you could’ve been 3-0 up at half time

This works really well for me, I have Kelly, Kemp, Haaland. You need to actually whip them in, not directly cross it in, you need to be in the RM, RAM sort of space for it to work really nicely, crossing from in line with the penalty spot really sucks even though you scored from it. Good luck with testing it out again, it is very good, try Ronaldo and Haaland

maddison on corners into van dijk in the box is so broken i win basically every header and score plenty of them i have like 20-30 goals with van dijk in like 50 something games

Ive been doing a mix of this and meta. With kelly on the right i added her back in after a poor weekend league 2-3 weeks ago and despite being a "downgrade" having that crossing option really improved my squad to my playstyle and i vastly enjoy the game more. That said still without evos and getting to evo some of my fave irl players from my club league and nation i still wouldnt be playing this game
