Opening Barbie Colour Reveal 2022 Advent Calendar! 

I swear the paint on that covers the doll before the reveal always looks way better than the actual reveal. That said this is one of the better color reveal dolls.

I have no intention of getting this advent calendar, but it was such a joy watching you open yours.

This one was surprisingly cute! I think that a pair of ice skates would have been a better option than a second pair of boots.

The box alone told me that this was gonna be better than the other Advent calendar. It's at least more well thought out.

Its a shame the doll is so cheap, but I adore the clothes it comes with! The light lavenders and blues give off such great winter vibes while also being recognizably barbie! I might just wait until this goes on sale after the holidays though lol Edit: Btw does anyone know if the leggings will fit on a curvy barbie body?

This was great. One thing I haven't seen you do is the ice water reveal on these dolls. Often they come with a sponge for this part. It gives the moulded on hair highlights and also adds makeup. Also worth trying on the pets... Love your channel!

I could be wrong, but I think the doll would look a LOT better if her hair was actually the color of the second hair piece, instead of it being painted one color. other than that, the colors of her outfit are pretty and it's nice to see some new clothes and accessories for the doll. 😀

I love the whole aesthetic of this doll so much, I'd like to put those pieces on a custom Looks doll or something

LOVE the Jim Carrey Grinch movie too! Watched it religiously as a child and even though I haven't seen it in a while, it still brings back fond memories 💚

I wish they would just make the barbie bald in these sets then give wigs. Full wigs could be a lot of fun. And they could include wig stands to put them on with the color the barbie was before the reveal.

Happy birthday for the first! 🎂 Really enjoyed this unboxing, and I think this was a great little collection for a small child. Frustrating lack of articulation, but robust enough for toddler play. And the accessories are lovely :)

I think the pink bow belt would go nicely with the skirt or coat, but definitely not on the dress as it has an empire waist. Yes, the doll is stiff and hard to dress as you can't even move her arms out to the side a little as you can on most basic dolls, but I still like her and her fantastic mix-n-match wardrobe. I got one similar to this last year and I can blend the two wardrobes together for even more looks : )

“Where are you, Christmas?” 🤣 I can’t believe they made you repeat the color reveal process. I feel like maybe it should have been even more use of that process though now I think about it (for the kids). Some cute pieces, like I love the coat and gingerbread man. This is really making me wish they did more forest animals than alwyas just doing dogs and cats. Thanks for doing this one. Maybe the pink bow was for the cat.

Gosh you are just so excited! I'm feeling excited for you!! I was disappointed with Mattel this year, though, reusing last year's "standard" advent calendar. I had such a great time with last year that I was stoked to do it again... but the color reveal is 100% not for me.

Ooooh, I'm so excited for this one! My Christmas spirit is rising with every advent calendar unboxing, and for some weird reason, I'm always hoping the calendar will be bad and disappointing.

Honestly, the color reveal dolls are more of an activity than they are a doll. I think the reason for the quality of the doll itself is purely because of the water play aspect. The doll is made from a harder plastic, and does not have rooted hair because they expect kids to dunk the doll in water, and there's paint completely covering it, I think they don't want to get the paint inside the doll where it won't fully rinse off for the way they normally make barbies. Of course this is just a guess. It could just be that the paint that they use for this is really expensive, so to cut costs they put a cheaper doll in. I have no idea, but it's fun to speculate.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas is my favourite Christmas movie too. This advent calendar was way better than the last one. You and Barbie are officially engaged😌, Ken who?

I like the clothes and shoes that come with this doll alot. If I get it it would be for those. I would probably donate the doll in the tube to a charity shop or something tbh.

I'm currently opening last year's CR advent calendar and I'm pretty satisfied with clothes that comes with it. This one is a let down for me... :/ but I love that coat, boots, necklace & bracelet. Anyway, from everything that Color Reveal line is offering to us, advent calendars are the best.

Finally got around to watching this. I picked this one up. The box art on yours is from the previous year. I do find molded hair to be a pain sometimes, especially if the hair has a bit of length. (Looking at you anniversary Prince Adam.) The molded on clothing is definitely Loathe Entirely. I really enjoy your perspective. ❤

They had this cheap at an Aldi near me and I thought about it but glad I saw this video. If it was super super cheap I’d get it just for some of the clothes and accessories and then donate the doll to a thrift shop. Glad you saved me twenty bucks haha

I’m looking at one of my articulated dolls and for the articulation to work there are a lot of crevices and if water gets in those crevices, the doll could get moldy. I’ve lost several of my childhood dolls to the mold from the humidity where I live.

I am more into the clothes, shoes and jewelry. I like the metal realistic looking jewelry versus the plastic stuff. I like that it's accessories and clothes were Christmas themed. The plastic head reminds me of the old Barbies that used to have wigs. I think that Mattel was drawing on the past for the look of these dolls. It is just a basic Barbie with some cute add on. Thank you for this video. I would like to see you do a video on moving/walking, dancing Barbies. Just a thought. My favorite Christmas movies are "March of the Wooden Soldiers, Miracle of 34th Street with Natalie Wood, The Nightmare before Christmas, A Christmas Carol, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer, Elf, the Santa Clause, Home alone, the Little Drummer boy,, the Die hards, and the Holiday"!
