To be fair the park has never opened this early in the year. So I kinda expected the slow ops as a lot of the employees havnt returned yet. But everything they’re improving on is amazing! This park needed love!

Just one comment to counter the belief that Great Adventure has had many different owners over the years. In reality, the park has had only three different owners in its 50 years of operation. Those three owners have been the company that built and opened the park (Hardwick Companies, Inc.). Great Adventure was a wholly owned subsidiary of Hardwick when it opened and through the 1974 season. At the end of 1974, Hardwick sold 95% of their ownership of the park to the Pritzker family of Chicago, removing much of Hardwick’s Management from the park and bringing in top executives from some of the Pritker’s other companies, as well as a former Vice President/General Manager from SFOT that they made general manager. The third and only other company to own and operate the park, is Six Flags, which bought the park from the Pritzker family. While it’s true that ownership of Six Flags has changed multiple times since they purchased GA, those ownership changes have been to the ownership of the corporation, not the ownership of Great Adventure.

Once the Cedar Fair/Six Flags merger goes through, Snoopy and the Gang at Kings Island will stay there in Camp SNOOPY....but will add new DC comics characters plus Bugs Bunny & Merrie Melodies/Looney Tunes when they come to Kings Island.
