My first ever dove hunt. I shot 7 and my grandpa shot 1. (He let me shoot a lot) I'm hooked

Our small game season opener starts September 15th. Friend of mine that I used to work with originally came from Kansas and he was saying once that "I cannot believe you guys don't have dove hunting here in Michigan. Those birds are huge."

The Dove are sweet this year for sho! That rain in the morning was special... LOL

Hey man. Got our first crazy thing magnet fishing. My daughter pulled a cd player out of a local river. The first thing my wife says when we got it clear of the water is "you gotta tell that guy who's magnet fishing videos you watch."

Our opening day was Sept.1 here in Pa My bro. and i limited(8) on geese by eight am and then went dove hunting. Limited(15) on doves by on them by 4:40pm. It was a great day! Looks like you guys did great as well!

My first time hunting dove was this past Saturday. I had a nice cornfield with power lines running through it with gravel access roads underneath the lines. Tons of doves on the lines 5 days scouted before opening. Walking up to my spot I noticed something missing... the friggin power lines! The power company is knocking down the towers and putting up poles. Moved to another location and it poured down rain lol. Going out this Saturday for round two

You should always train yourself on shooting with both eyes open... you use one eye to keep an eye on the target and use the other eye as a depth perception to see how far away the target is and how fast it’s moving

I know the shells and guns are a little pricy but I would recommend a 28 gauge. My dad and I both shoot 28 gauges for dove/quail/ and farm raised plant pheasants. They have very little recoil. It’s hard to explain but when you miss their is so little recoil that you don’t even miss stride when following through on the bird. You can almost see how far off you are so that your second shot is right on it.

Bobby I shot my first pigeon while I was dove hunting today. It was solid black, but the best part was when I picked it up to see a yellow band on his leg 😁 Super excited.

Our best hunting in Kentucky is between 4:00 pm and 6:00PM opening day it doesnt start till 11 am.

Going dove hunting in about 2 hours! (Eurasian Collared). In Idaho Collared dove are open all season long.
