This is what Yugioh needed. Making these staples more accessible will hopefully make the game appealing to new players. My one gripe is that the platinum secret rare isn’t like the original. Its one of my favorite rarities

I LOVE how many staples are in this set! Really makes the game so much more affordable, and with gorgeous high-rarity versions of iconic cards for collectors. Been waiting months for this!

I really am excited for this set as it opens the doors for anyone to get these expensive cards for pretty cheap. I hope Konami continues making more sets like this in the future!

I love the fact that prosperity has been reprinted. It’s been impossible for budget players like myself to be able to pick up these kinds of cards and is really nice that we can play meta cards. I also love that effect veiled got its first secret printing 💪💪💪💪

Favorite part about this set is the reprint of Egyptian God Slime. Card was completely unobtainable due to its price but now everyone can get an affordable version and chase a higher rarity from this Collection.

Honestly. this looks like one of the best reprints we've gotten. Really helps get some cards that are normally expensive.

That Ultimate Rare "Change of Heart" looks absolutely bonkers good. Like holy cow that is some quality cardboard.

I love this set, I think it's wild that the Ocg does this studf with their rarities ALL THE TIME and we get shafted when we buy it in the tcg

You should do a video covering all the rarities of a single card to show everyone the differences between them, it'd be pretty useful now and in the future tbh

I pulled my ash blossom in my first box but some of my ultras were poor quality on the borders being sliced.

I'm so looking forward to the short of the moment in the stream when a ghost rare pops out of a pack and Rux's head explodes while contemplating how they kept that secret so well.

Such a cool set. Not to be a yugiboomer, but I'd love a less meta focused rarity collection if they continue to do this. Print some jars, print summoned skull, print something like shrink or ring of destruction, etc.

I am so excited to see this set opened. I think the idea of 7 different rarities of a single card is great. I wanna see the Ash Blossom in person!

My favorite part of this set is that new players, returning players, and budget players can all have access to most of the staples that are needed for most decks. Also the rarity bumps helps out a lot.

I got two booster boxes already and the pulls are insane, so many useable cards, enough to bulk out several decks with killer spell, trap and effect monsters

first and last card for each pack are super rare 2nd card can be regular secret, plat secret, or quarter century 3rd and 4th card can be ultra, ultimate, or collector

It's interesting seeing a Baronne misprint at 13:42 Makes you wonder what a higher rarity misprint from this set could be worth.

The fact that Lava Golem and Effect Veiler are in this set makes it GOAT’d for me. Love it.

Love this set both from a really cool looking card standpoint and because of the reprinting meta staples to make them more accessible without completely tanking the value of other prints (hopefully). Would love to pull that change of heart as a 25th anniversary rarity

I'm wondering if going forward we should expect the same Ulti finish in future OTS packs or what would happen to the Extra Secret rare. Not my favorite, but also might be weird to have that pop up again without the borders finished too.

I love the fact that this set allows casual players to get access to high end meta staples for little money

The only thing I don't like is the border on the ultis. I wish the outside border was foil instead of the embossed glossy cover, it makes the cards look and feel tacky to me.

I’m excited to get baronne reprint and prosperity reprint. They are the most anticipated reprints I’m looking for. Also I feel like Konami should do a legacy reprint set which reprints old cards for archetypes that Konami has been giving legacy support for but people haven’t been playing because some cards have only had one print and it was printed like 15years ago or something like that. Best example I can give is aliens. Alien kid has only had only print and no others and it is an essential card for the deck. There are others that are like that which could do with a reprint or 12.

I got 2 boxes, where I pulled Properity and TTT in ultimate rare, although the highlight was Fallen of Albaz in "QCR" but the foiling is a combination of ultimate and QCR, what a misprint to get for a Branded player.

It's great that they're bringing out a lot of fan favorites alongside some really hard hitters, really sweet diverse pool of cards to choose from

your rankings of the rarities from this set at the end are pretty based, although the Platinum Secret Rare letters for the name are just like the old video game promos, so that deserves more points 😉

I'm looking forward to picking some of these up. I'd love to see this kind or set with mostly or at least more OG cards though. Pure fan service but as a non-player collector, I'd buy it!

This set is sick, I can’t wait to finally get some of these cards that I’ve been priced out of for the longest time (looking at you, Baronne)! I’m a really big fan of the new ultis, I’ve only gotten a handful of packs but I got ulti Tour Guide and ulti Ice Dragon’s Prison and they both look absolutely beautiful!

Normally i just comment to show my support for the video and for the algorithm, but that QCR Lonefire needs to go in my Edison collection!

The only thing I don't like about this set is that it sold out day 1 everywhere in my area. And of course, scalpers that wish to resell in a few years got it thinking this will never be printed again. I hope we get one every year.

Is this a misprint on the Baronne on the letterbox on the right @13:40? Looks odd with the red marking

I'm loving this set so far, it helps a lot for the meta players and players who want to go into meta and can't spend a ton of money into stapples. It's so hard to pick a card... but so far I'm liking the platinum secrets a lot. I have to see the new CR and ultis in person to judge them, but they look great as well! My favorite card, hmm... I'd say the alternative art Knightmare Unicorn in ulti or CR!

The rarity is pretty much what OCG has been getting. Prismatic style ultra rare = OCG ultimate rare, prismatic style collector rare = OCG collector rare. The only difference between this set and the OCG set is the platinum secret rare. OCG dun have that rarity at all, but they do have a rarity called EXSE rarity (extra secret rare)

Just getting back into the tcg so its nice to easily catch up on staples that I've missed

I say make a rarity collection for time wizard format cards so we can get more cards like trap dustshoot delinquent duo or even absolute zero without hurting the advanced formats.

This seems like a great way to comeback to playing yugioh more and finally having a comp deck for like 10 bucks

I love the reprints, making a lot of cards more accessible with super versions but I also love the new rarities and the chance to bling out some cards in my decks. Love this set! I hope Konami starts adding ultimate rares back to normal sets and maybe next time they do something like this they will add ghost rares in the mix. There’s some things they could have done better with this set but it’s still an amazing set for a lot of players and collectors and Konami is on the right track.

Fantastic set. One of if not the best sets released by Konami. The reprints look insane. That Quarter Century Rare Dark Law looks insane. One of my favourites thus far.

Definitely a very cool set I agree a set code would be helpful like you said especially in a set like this or similar sets. I do like how they slightly updated the foil style

I am so excited for this set, and should be getting mine on Friday from Sassyotto. At first I was most excited about the ultimate rares as ultimate rare is my favorite, but I’m not to certain how I like the Japanese version compared to normal ultis. The collector rares however looks absolutely amazing and there are so many I’m wanting to collect, as most people lol…. The only issue I have is on the collection side of previous versions of the cards. Anyone who bought high rarity prosperities just lost all their value, same with so many of other cards that have previous have high rarities. With that said, I am still going to be buying a bunch of it lol.

Im a HERO nerd, personally I love the new Dark Law rarities. I'm just sort of getting back into yugioh, so I would always prefer more nostalgia stuff that I can actually understand, lol.

I guess favorite part of the set would be that some cards who were very expensive beacuse they got only 1 print now will get a lot cheaper, its bad for the person having that 1 set print cards though its value gonna drop.

This set is hype, I just don’t want them to keep doing this every year. Make it something that is super collectible instead of printing every card into oblivion

My favorite part of this set is that it offers so much for people just starting yugioh. It allows them to get easy access to staples to help them play them game or it offers them chance to have trade bait towards upgrading their deck.

My full thoughts on this set: (warning: very long read) - Yu-Gi-Oh needs to adopt the Pokemon model of all cards at accessible rarities with extremely rare variants. The most expensive low rarity card in Standard I can find is Forest Seal Stone at ~$15. But high-rarity cards in Standard can go up to Charizard ex from 151 at $110. And there are so many high rarity cards that you can bling out almost your entire deck. This set is a step in the right direction. - While I would like to see more Rarity Collections, I think there should be fewer versions of each card so each version retains more value. I don't want the accessibility of the game to suffer but I don't want the collectors to suffer either. - I like the new Platinum Rare, but I wish the card border had the same foiling as the art border. - The new Collector's Rare should fully replace the current TCG one. - They should combine the art foiling of the normal Ultimate Rares with the outer part of the new Ultimate Rares. - I'm shocked at the lack of obvious short printing. There may be clumping though. - There are a couple of strange choices for this set: • Wynn the Wind Channeler, Fairy Tale Luna, Inspector Boarder, Artifact Lancea, and Ice Barrier completely confuse me. The rest are either historical (Reasoning), currently good (Prosperity), anime nostalgia (Blackwing Simoon), or lore relevant (Iris Swordsoul). Let me know if I'm wrong here. • Magicalized Fusion doesn't make sense unless viewed as a DM card, but that makes 2 DM cards in once set. I'd rather another deck get love. Aleister is historic, a meme, and even has 2 arts. • IMO Blue-Eyes Abyss Dragon should be Blue-Eyes Alternative Dragon. • IMO Vision HERO Faris should be Vision HERO Vyon. • I'm still on the fence about if we should have gotten Maxx C like the OCG. On the one hand, it may confuse MD players trying to get into TCG or be a bad hit for people pulling for usable staples. On the other hand, it's historic and playable in Edison. To be clear, I'm on Team #BanMaxxC. All in all, I'm glad we finally have a set that's fun to collect AND great for players.

I think Konami would be fine if they did a rarity/anniversary collection every 5 years (like they do in the OCG)

Really surprised that Konami brought this to the tcg, it'll be great if they print it every 5 years, old cards would lose value but I think is more important for the game to be more accessible with this lower cost staples
