This video will show you what to expect when you open up your mason bee nesting straws, and how to deal with issues such as mites, predators and fungus.
Thank you for this series of videos on Mason bees. We're using them to show our Cub Scouts how to care for Mason bees for their conservation project and they're so easy to understand. Very nicely done.
excellent video, you got yourself another NEW Mason Bee parent! These are perfect for low maintenance keepers, I wanted to help but Honeybees are not the only Bees in town!
A big Thank you for sharing your knowledge and enlightening me today. I am going to look into this fascinating subject more. Can you please tell me how you make the straws. I live in the UK. Kind regards Marc
I found white larva I my tubes in VERY thin cocoons with mud plugs in between larva. It's early November in Northern Michigan and the ends have been plugged since the July/August time frame. Any ideas on what these might be?
I am hard of hearing and use the closed caption which a lot of which you keep showing at the bottom of you video is covered with the closed caption. Otherwise very nice videos.
