Great job, Dale! Glad to see that you got your video posted last year. My dad, our friend, and I were the ones you ran into on your way out. Dale and Brandon, you guys were such a pleasure to meet on my first ever elk harvest. Thank you for all of your encouragement, your advice, and the help that you offered us. Truly a special encounter that our party enjoyed for the rest of our time in the woods. You guys were top notch! I hope you don’t have to wait five more years for your next one, Dale. God bless you both for your humility and helpfulness. Randy, you’ve got a high class gentleman in Dale. Until next time, gents.
Congratulations, you did your homework and your preseason scouting and it's paid off. Always nice to have a good friend to share the experience and especially the pack out.
Congratulations is it Dale? I hope Randy and his mother are able to visit with each other are prayers are with him and his family Great Job Dale on your Elk. You're a top hand cameramen didn't get the shot that's a sin! Just kidding it's great you have good friends to go with God's Blessings
What a great Christmas present! A hunt that followed the script as Randy would say. Great positive attitude Brandon! I get so nervous seeing game before opener because I think if I saw them, so did half the other hunters out there… added stress for the morning for sure! Continued prayers for Randy, his mom and the entire family. It was cool to see the featherweight as I’ve hunted with one for years, as well as the C.A.Mesa with the Leo on it. I have the exact same set up in 7mm now. Way to carry the torch guys… Thank you.
Congrats Dale. There is no forth wall with the Randy Newberg Crew! We all enjoy the vids of Randy hunting but we also enjoy the hunts with Marcus, Michael and DALE actually hunting. Camera crew rocks!
Pretty cool to see Dale in front of the gun! Give years of filming! Loved it! All beit I'm sure this was due to Randys life challenges with his mom. Prayers go out as unfortunately I am all too experienced with those illness challenges! Let's hope that Randy and his Mom stay as positive as possible through these challenges as that makes a significant difference.
That couldn't have gone much better. 1) You got an elk, 2) You had a friend to go with and share the experience, 3) You had help packing all that meat out, 4) and the weather seemed quite mild.
Great video. Next year I’m hoping to be able to go hunting for my first elk. I love the excitement in your voice after you shot and started filming again.
Have you asked Brandon to forgive your impatience for getting to camp at 5 pm instead of 4 pm? Yep, it showed through on the video LOL. He was a real friend to and genuinely happy for your success, as we all are. Congratulations on the bull.
This will make Randy really happy knowing you put a bull down. He cares that his 200,000 + friends and wants them to enjoy his shows. God be with Randy and family during this time. Well done by the way, I enjoyed y’all’s wild eyed excitement.
Great video and it was a pleasure meeting you and Brandon on the trail. Matthew , Monte and I are still eating elk steaks. Thanks for posting the video...brings back Great memories on our first elk harvest.
My dad has hunted elk for years and never gotten a shot off. Between him and my 5 brothers we have over 30 years of elk hunting and only 3 bulls and 4 cows to show for it.
I don't think I'll ever be able to afford a elk hunt and now thing's are getting so ridiculous price wise I'm having a rough time being able to deer hunt for free on my local public land. Definitely a excellent example of how I would want my hunt to go should I ever get lucky enough to go. Get on the elk early in the morning make a perfect shot and the elk folds up in the edge of a field and start dressing out and done by lunch and walking out!
How awesome! Would loved to have seen the shot; but given the circumstances, you got the elk instead of only being able to film him. And meat in the freezer chews better than pixels in the camera!
If never hundred, but have it on my bucket list! I wonder if it’s common for two or three groups to be scoping/tracking the same animal/groups of animal from different angles until the very last second where they all creep up on opposite sides. Imagine being so close just to watch the Elk drop to someone else bullet right before you pull the trigger 😀
@@brearlymason4903 How do you know he didn't? Maybe he did a humble, private prayer instead public display. Just because you didn't see it, doesn't mean it didn't happen.
Bro....don't apologize for not filming. The world of video hunting has made it so impersonal that hunting is no longer realistic for most people. You filmed a real hunt and that is what most people really want to see. Most elk videos on youtube are very unrealistic.
