Anyone else currently binge watching GCSE results videos?

Rah why am I watching GCSE results openings instead of actually revisiingggggg?

4 is a scraper pass not a 5, as a 5 is known as a strong pass😂

I got a 9 in english Lang when I was predicted a 5😂 any year 10s watching this honestly don’t worry you’ll be fine as long as you’ve got good teachers

Watching these makes me anxious why am I doing this to myself 😂

I have dyslexia so I thought I was gonna get a 4 or maybe a 5 and I was literally so determined to get a 5 and i got a 7 in both!!!!!!

I literally have the last half of my exams in a week and instead of revising my worst subject I'm watching these videos

I was the same in English only got a 5 however I got a 6 in history yet I was kicked out of my history class which makes no sense😂

I genuinely don't know why I'm watching this, I passed 2 years ago.

In English language I was expected an 7. Got 7s in both sets of mocks. Ended up with a 4. Two marks off a 5 so I’m getting it remarked. I was disappointed too x

I got: Maths- 4 English language- 5 English Literature- 6 Combined science- 4 Additional science- 4 Childcare- 6 Catering- 4 Drama- 5 R.S- 5 I was predicted 2s and 3s for everything so I’m so pleased with that! You did so well, 5 is a low b so well done you! I think you’ve done absolutely amazing in your exams, it’s the effort which counts after all.

In my mocks I got 6’s/7’s/8’s in English but I also got two 5’s! And French was my worst subject (I was getting 4’s/5’s) and somehow did the best in French with a 7! I’m so confused ahah xx

IM IN PRACTICALLY THE SAME BOAT AS YOU!!! I have always struggled with maths and was certain I failed and I have always been good at English and was almost certain I had got a 6 or above! So I ended up getting a 4 in maths some how??!! And a 4 and a 5 in English and I’m so disappointed!! I was getting 6 and above in the mocks!!! And I also got two 5’s in science which was also a shock for me!

What exam board were you with for English? I was with AQA and i somehow managed to get an 8 in Lit and Lang. I think this new system is a bit of a mess

lovely to hear from somebody that is happy with 5s all to often there is a lot of pressure to get 9s, you have fantastic results

BTW, D in spoken English exam is the equivalent to an A*. (It means distinction)

A level 5 is a good grade don’t put yourself or anyone else down because of it

I was in the set just above the bottom (second bottom) and I got a 7 in English Literature and Language ! I was predicted a 5 and a 4 but in my mocks I always got 5's and 6's. So for me to get a 7 in English Lang and Lit had me so gassed and surprised !!

I’m watching gcse results and I have A level Biology exams this week

At our school for English no one got above a 6 in the mocks yet loads of people got 8s and 9s in the exams? I guess it can often depend on how it’s marked xx

I was also in the top set and got a level 5 in English but an A*/8 in my most recent mock exam. I thought the exam went really well too but I’ve seen so many people’s results and they all seem to be unexpectedly low considering most of the people who got those grades were in the top set. I haven’t seen anyone in my school achieve higher than a 7 in Lang which is really confusing as there are A LOT of students who easily get level 8s and 9s. I was going to get my English Lang exam remarked but I don’t know if I should now? Don’t get me wrong, A level 5 is still a really good grade but it’s a little disappointing to me personally as I was aiming higher! Well done on your results anyway Leah, you done amazing!! x

I got both 5’s in my English literature and language. My school is paying for it to be remarked as I was one mark of a 6 if English language and 2 marks of in English literature. Like this video if you got a 5 in English and if so comment if your getting it remarked!!
