Hi... Thanks for sharing your experience which is so relevant for all breastfeeding mums. 8 days NICU stay of my baby girl was a big blow to me for my breast supply yet I kept on going. Stress, late night baby crying, stupid people around made my journey more difficult but I was resilient. Now my Little one is three and a half months old and my lactation consultant said that I am having over lactation! Could not imagine I could produce enough and look where we both have come! So perseverance and consistency work wonders. Eventually what matters is the complete nutrition of the baby so be it formula or breast every mom is the best person for the baby. I would request all mums here not to give a shit to all those who discourage or blame you for not doing something they think is right and keep on following your heart.

So true debina frst 3 months of breastfeeding my baby was so tough ... I had excessive let downs .nd it was so painful nd messy.. I wished I don't wana have my milk...but now my baby is 7 and half months nd the this journey of breastfeeding is so beautiful that I don't wana to end it... I can feel u.. now whenever I feed her nd the thought comes to me that one day this will end . I feels so sad... It's so emotional.. tc ...it's ok don't feel sorry... U gave ur best nd u will . We moms are always the best for our babies❤

Hi debinaa.... I completely understand what u r going through.... I know tht loneliness u r feeling.. Coz for mothers like us breastfeeding is not only just feed of food which are giving to baby bt it is all our love our timee our everything we share wd our baby at tht particular moments which is diificult to make others understand... breastfeeding and quantitiy of milk mainly get effected wd our mindss if u keep on thibking negative abt it. Or get scared that it will end.. It will end.. If u keep thinking positively that no it will be their it will. Become more it will. Be more. Our minds play imp. Role here.. If urbaby is not tkaing feed try to changee positions and try chaning the place where u r sitting and most imp keep ur self. Clean and if ur uaing one perfume from before DO NOT CHANGE IT.. babies mainky recognizes mothers frm their smelll.. If uchange ur smell. May be u r baby thinks tht its not u... Hi. I respect your problems and views. Please consult a lactation expert for good breastfeeding journey. Most of the time it's painful because the latch is not correct. Babies can be fed without any pain to mother as long as 2 to 4 years. Milk also reduces because of the incorrect latch as breasts are not getting stimulated by a proper feed. More feeds with proper latch produces more milk. Thank you for reading this.

Exercise won't reduce lactation..in fact it's healthy for both mommy and baby..

I had similar experience, mine it stopped around 6 months..it became so hard to push for both of us. Pumping became pain as well.

Hi Debina, My son is 22 months old now. He stopped breastfeeding when he was around 4 months old. I felt so guilty as if I had done something to push him away from breastfeeding. No matter what all I tried, he didn't go back to breastfeeding again. I pumped until 6 months so I could give him breast milk in a bottle. After which my breast milk reduced considerably so I couldn't give him breast milk anymore. I still feel bad about it but I know there's nothing else I could have done. Thanks for sharing your feelings about breastfeeding.
