Nothing like Tom cracking up at the iteration of his store naming puns (which were _hilarious_ btw). I can only imagine how much more ridiculous it would have been for a dice-centric gaming shop.

If this game was realistic you'd have an option to give 1/4 of your store over to a large Warhammer section filled with big boxes that never sell.

This took me back to working in a cards and comics shop during the first wave Pokemon tcg craze. So many packs opened by the shop owner 😅

I honestly love the idea of a card shop where the owner will spray you down with deodorant if you are too smelly

CaptainSparklez (not former Yogs-affiliate and Area 11 guy Sparkles*), over on his second channel, is doing a long-form play of this, and it gets pretty in-depth (the game itself and his showing of it). Also Tetramon is actually a thing, not created for this game, someone (a Malaysian dev apparently) created a mobile TCG under their personal name (Sia Ding Shen), then incorporated as OPNeon Games and created this game using the cards they (or someone they know, or someone they hired) designed for the mobile app.

I’ve been watching people play this for weeks, patiently waiting for Tom to play, I knew this day would come!

I love how in this game you have to open the TCG shop completely undecorated, to the point where the inside of the shop looks more like one of those small city-offices of a bank or a real estate firm, the kind of serious businesses that love pretentious minimalist interior design, than an actual TCG shop

Can you Imagine if they made one of these with a full on hobby store with fake warhammer and board games and comic books and CCGs!? This game is about 25% of the way there to the ultimate nerd shopkeeper game. I could actually live out my dreams of owning a hobby shop without the crushing financial burden when they inevitably go under.

Like how you can sell card adjacent merch, like the dice and plushies, and card care stuff. Also, deodorant, hmmhmm thems the good stuff. Also, I flippin love how opening packs is a whole part of the game :D, you too get to collect and be possess by Gamblor "Quick, hike the price, the smellies are coming" XD ha ha I wonder if this is made by the same person as the Super Market Simulator, they be fun little games. A hygiene PSA, at my own expense: see, in college I would often go a week between showers. I sorta wondered if I smelled bad to other people, but I could only sorta smell anything myself, so.... Then I got called to the nurse's office. They'd received enough complaints about my odor that they were concerned I had a medical issue. Very embarrassing. The policy I've had basically since then is that if I'm going to interact with someone and it's been two or more days since my last shower, I shower first. So far it has seemed to work. Bottom line: you don't smell yourself, shower more frequently than you think you need to, and every second day seems to be a reasonable number.

If you put in the wrong numbers on the card payments then you should under charge them and same for cash vs change, would make the game more interesting, kinda boring the fact you can't do nothing wrong in the game

@angorytom If you play more of this there is a setting that let's you open packs faster, if you're more interested in opening rare cards than seeing all the cards in the packs over and over.
