It was an emotional night at the Foxwoods Theatre on June 14 when the oft-delayed musical extravaganza Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark finally celebrated its opening night. At the curtain call, composers Bono and The Edge spoke about the show's long journey to Broadway, then invited original director Julie Taymor (who was ousted from the project earlier this year) onstage to speak on behalf of the hardworking cast and crew. The night marked the first time Taymor viewed the reworked version of the show. Click below to watch the electrifying scene!

This show is unbelievable... I laughed, cried, and got the chills. The stunts, music, costumes, and scenery are just incredible. There is no other show like this on Broadway. SEE IT!!!!

I agree. It's kinda sad...I live down here in Texas...and can't afford to go to new york to see the production for myself...so for now I'm stuck with "glimpses" and snipets of what looks like an amazing show, and the opinion/experience story of my cousin lol.

I never said I wasn't grateful...obviously Bono & The Edge wouldn't have gotten it to where it is today without her idea's but...just the way the storyline went or the way she had it set up wasn't right at all or something (like I said from what I hear My cousin went to see it. I sadly am no where near new york to actually see it for myself)
