I’m 25, I failed everything cos I slept instead of revise 😂😂 went uni and graduated with a 2.1 ! To anyone who fails please don’t worry ! Your future is will bright !
I got a 5 in maths and I was so proud of it, after all three of the maths exams I came home crying just telling myself that I had failed, so to see that 5 on my results paper was amazing.
Well done! I’m surprised I passed everything! I was a bit gutted with some of my results but in the end I’ve passed all of them so can’t complain especially as I didn’t revise for any of them with stuff going on at home. My English literature is going for a remark as I am 1 mark off a 9! I can’t believe it! Well done to everyone who got their results, remember if you didn’t do as well as you wanted they’re just numbers on a piece of paper and it doesn’t define you❤️❤️❤️
The Loving Believer Pretty much just put in loads of hours starting as early as you can but also take regular breaks for food and drink and take your mind off of it. I also listened to music whilst revising and tried to sing through it in my head in the exam and for some reason the association of the lyrics with the content helped me to remember loads of facts
Omg well done! I got : English lit: 8 English Lang: 9 Maths: 8 Combined science: 87 French: 7 Art: 7 Drama: 8 Citizenship: 8 but 1 mark of a 9 so it’s being remarked! I’m so happy!💗well done girls x
I’m just saying make sure you’re emotionally prepared and stay on top of things.. it is the most emotionally draining thing I’ve ever done but hey I’m off to uni this September so if you put in the work it pays off.. good luck 💞
GCSEs have been INSANE. The stress that it’s put on all of us! I’m watching everyone opening their GCSE results and I’m seeing loads of people who have done great in their results, such as you two! Congratulations to BOTH of you and I hope your futures are bright!

I got my results 4 years ago and I remember being so upset with my results! I thought it was the end of the world but it proves that you can still get places in life! I never get asked about what GCSE grades I got at all! Grades do not define you as a person. I’m graduating from university this September so it goes to show you can still do the things you want to achieve!

Missed 6 months of school and I got Maths foundation: 5 English lit:5 English Lang: 4 Combined science foundation :5-5 Couldn't be prouder of my self as I struggled so much at school
i had a pretty similar situation but i missed almost 3 years (& literally the years where you learn all the stuff for the exams) due to severe depression & anxiety (i was also diagnosed with autism in the midst of all this) & i went back in january & i got: english language: 5 (they sent it back for remarking because i was a few marks of a 6) maths: 4 science: 54 IT: distinction* i think it sounds better when i clarify to people that the highest i could’ve got in maths & science is a 5 as i did foundation due to being off for so long. i was sure i failed english to the point where i cried after the exam because i was really ill during the exams & couldn’t concentrate which also caused me to skip 2 8 mark question so i’m happy but still disappointed that i was ill during the exams as i was getting consistent 8’s in my mocks & practice papers so i’m hoping it is remarked as a 6 at least. i was convinced i failed maths because everyone in my family failed maths & i find it really hard & confusing as well so i’m happy with a 4. i was convinced i would fail science as i missed all the practicals you’re meant to know so i was shocked when i got one of the highest grades i could’ve gotten. i already knew i passed IT as i found out right after i did the exam as it was online & it was honestly really easy but i tried extremely hard on the coursework purely because i don’t like half assing things & i thought having an extra qualification would look better. so overall, i’m pretty happy as i passed every exam i took.
You guys did so well! Your faces after you got your results were so happy 😁. I’ve been off ill for most of the year but I’m so happy with what I got and got more than I thought I could ♥️

I sadly didn’t pass my exams in year 11 but passed my English lit.. even in collage I tried so hard to get the grades I want to find out I’m only a few marks off from passing my English .. 😢 hopefully redoing in November !
Leah Johnson x if you’re only a few marks off, you can get the paper remarked. With aqa it’s £40 per unit unless you get a higher grade in which case it’s free. I imagine it’s similar with other exam boards
Just check on the website of whichever exam board you did your exam on and see if you think it’s worth your paper being regraded. If you decide not to, good luck for November!
Aaron Fletcher yeah was think that! But it allways goes down and hardly up so I think il just re sit again in November.. I just got so mad because I reversed so much and my collage was helping me a lot 😢

I got: English Lang- 8 History- 7 Art- 6 English Lit- 6 (we did this one in year 10. Regret not retaking as it’s my best subject). Maths- 5 (my worst subject and revised so hard) Combined science- 5,5 (I did triple for years since I was top set but struggled as I didn’t understand anything. I literally got a 0 in my chemistry mock. The triple science messed me up bad and I entered double right before the exam). French- 5 (again shook. 3 in all my mocks but my teacher supported me a lot so I got a 5).
