They aren't opened. You get a random sleeve of 4 cards; but the cards are packaged in a way so that the card backs are facing out. Picture taking random playing cards from a deck; put them in two piles of two, and now sandwich the faces of the card together with the backs of all four cards sticking out and that is how they come. There is no foil wrapper/packaging on the cards like there is for most collectable cards ( Pokemon, Sports, Magic etc...) the cards come on sheets of 2x2 cards (with the backs facing out) that you then must punch out. So again no the Cashier at the till has no idea what cards you're going to get and no if you ask " Can you find me Baby Groot, or Red Skull, or Iron Man etc.. " so you can complete the set or get your favourite character; the Cashier is powerless to help you out. As they have no way of knowing which cards/characters you're going to get.
@@brandoman79 yes, the cashiers can take a look at the bottom of the pack which is not sealed and they are doing this here, I already collected more than 100 cars and every time I go for groceries I see cashiers and supermarket staff checking the cards from the bottom.
It's not free it's 5 bucks plus the purchase price to get cards. For kids it should be 50 cents. it's a garbage idea from an out of touch boardroom. You can also scan QR in store to enter a contest. Which means it's a tax right off and free family vacation for the stores owners. Nobody is winning this obscure contest that really nobody wants. just give people the 10K. Never mind saddle them with the tax burden for winning this dumb contest. Look into how these corporate contests really work.
@@Mr.Unacceptable I never really looked into the contest part of this, but that’s interesting to hear. I was thinking of it more as “you’re buying groceries anyways, so it’s kind of fun for the kids to get some cards”. Thanks for the info! 👍
@@Keen_Plays Can anyone explain why the packages are open? The employees can see all cards before you. All cards you get as a customer is garbage. Then, they will sell the rare cards on ebay
