My favorite classic set is Metal Raiders! Powerful cards like Magic Cylinder, Mirror Force, Solemn Judgement, etc. were introduced. Also, I just love Black Skull Dragon

Love that Instant Fusion brought back the LOB fusions to be meta relevant for a time. Best pull was the Mystical Elf. That card does look clean in the new super foiling.

I remember my friend pulled an LOB Blue-Eyes White Dragon back in the day (unlimited original EU print). I was so jealous because the only holos I would get would be from the starter decks since my pack luck was that bad. The LOB blue-eyes art will always be my favourite because it was the one that always escaped me! Also, not sure if anyone commented but you are guaranteed one of two secret rares per box but the ultra/super rare ratios can be anything from 2-3 URs and 4-5 super rares

I just started playing the three old "Power of Chaos" PC games again and I saw so many cards I am playing/playing against in the beginning of my duel journey against Yugi/Kaiba/Joey haha. Fun fact: I started playing when LOB was in its unlimited print run, and while I pulled Blue-Eyes 3 times and Raigeki once, I never pulled Pot of Greed. I would prefer to open either Labyrinth of Nightmare or Legacy of Darkness, though.

Fun fact, when I was a kid buying LOB packs, I was buying single packs from my local 7-11. So I didn’t even know cards came in rarities greater than rare. 😅
