We got Excellent News today... We are opening back up the store, June 12th but with reduced hours of 11am-7pm Mon through Sat and 11am-6pm on Sundays. In this video we do an awesome Record Review on "Barnabas". After that we go through Hundred of just priced Vinyl Records that are Mostly Rock.

THE OTHER DAY I LISTENED AGAIN TO THE LAST STUDIO ALBUM BY VAN HALEN "A DIFFERENT KIND OF TRUTH", IT WAS THE RETURN OF DAVID LEE ROTH TO THE BAND BUT I STILL CAN`T GET INTO IT FOR SOME REASON... I REALLY WANTED TO LOVE THIS ALBUM BUT THE MAGIC AND THE ESSENCE IS GONE, THAT`S JUST MY OPINION. I GIVE IT 4 OUT OF 10 STARS!!!

I was disappointed with a classical music recorded called "Virtuoso Harp" and I assumed it would be some relaxing harp music, but it was very modern, avant garde harp music which would have sounded great in Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho', but wasn't relaxing at all. I only paid $1 or $2 for it at my local Salvation Army Thrift Store and decided that I would never likely listen to it again, so I donated it back to either the Salvation Army or my local Value Village. :)

The Tears for Fears album 'The Hurting' reissue cover is actually the original UK cover. I always liked the UK cover better as I think the little boy on the cover better represents the overall album. An amazing album by the way! Love your videos and congratulations on your store reopening on Friday! :)

Wow, Deep Purple. They are an awesome band. I love Smoke On The Water. My Sharona by The Knack is one of my favourite songs. Didn't know they had an album though. Got to get that one in my collection.

I went down a Barnabas rabbit hole. I found a lot of things that Cameraman later told in his info sheet. The later albums are a bit better, but still in the same vein.

Congrats on reopening Friday and the best of luck to you good folks Your question I can't answer because I don't do blind buys so I have no disappointments in records I buy(Thanks to You Tube and other internet places where I can hear the music before I buy it as well as sound places at my local record store DR. 14:10 German for "yes" is "ja" (pronounced YAH). "Danke" is German for "thank you" which is similar to the Dutch word for thank you which is "dankie" (don-kee) and the Dutch say, "Ja" for "yes" too. :)

FUN FACT (Okay....): Apparently, Barnabas, born Joseph, a Cypriot Jew (a Jew from Cyprus), was an early Christian, one of the prominent Christian disciples in Jerusalem who travelled with Paul the Apostle as they undertook missionary journeys together.

7:00 Haha! As soon as you showed that Banabas record with the title 'Hear The Light', I knew it had to be some sort of Christian rock band and despite being an Anglican Christian, I'm not into Christian rock of any kind because I find it preachy and nauseating and frankly, the quality of the tunes and lyrics are often lacking. It's just not my cup of tea (but some people like that stuff and music is all a matter of personal taste anyway). :)

As for Hear the Light, apart from the song Savior, the rest of it is hot garbage. Barnabas did get better over time, though. Their third album has a song called Waiting For the Aliens - it’s a song about alien invasion. ALIENS 👽!

Congratulations on your reopening! Barnabas is a kick ass band! The album cover was a joke (FOR THEM)!! They were a metal band but looked more like a punk band on the cover (AS A JOKE)!! Look at the picture of her on the back cover as she looks nothing like she does on the front. I totally agree with the guy talking about them here. However they did turn into a kind of more generic metal band from their 4th album on. However the 1st 3 definitely KICK ASS FOR SURE!!!!
